- WOWise OwlMay 12, 20261.0This was my favorite café in Austin. I have not been there for a couple years and I most recently visited the place and was shocked at the low quality of the food. It was basically disgusting. Such a beautiful place in a beautiful location associated with a world class brand like Nordstrom. That’s what happens when you hire the wrong chef …. Customers get garbage for food. We will never ever eat their again! What a shame.

This is a $6 portion of soup it cost yall .10 cents to make.. then when checking out the cashier tried to add a $5 tip on the tab without asking, nothing just added it. We have ate here multiple times and its been great. But this was our first and last time ordering to go.

Last time I came here, completely out of burgers. And have been out of complementary mint chocolate since December 2025. It’s crazy how they can’t be stocked with food people want to order. It’s a desirable to job to provide the food you want. Also the food takes 1 hour minimum to be ready. It takes so long, and the portions are either really small, or very big. It’s unreasonable.
