Very tasty hotpot. Hard to find individual hotpot in Austin. Very good value as well. They also have QR code ordering system. Very neat.

This use to be my favorite spot to go just for there Thai fried rice & Spring rolls. I must say the spring rolls was good but they either changed the menu or something because the rice was nothing like it use to be. I was so disappointed.

We got the Family Combo and they started with the Egg Rolls, which came very crispy but the flavor of the filling was quite underwhelming - almost like a flavorless mush. The sweet and sour sauce definitely helped - 6.5/10.
The hot pot soup was definitely loaded with tons of meats and flavors. The things that stood out to me was the broth itself, which was amazing. Almost as if a soup version of Lao Gan Ma. The noodles felt overcooked in my opinion, as I would've preferred a more al-dente bite - 7.5/10.
The dry hot pot was personally my favorite of all the dishes. The noodles here had a little more bite which makes sense given that it's not having to slow cook in a hot broth. There were pieces of French fries in this dish, which I welcomed but I thought to be interesting? Similar to the soup based hot pot, this dish came with tons of meats. The spice profile was mala, of course, and definitely felt like it enhanced the overall palate instead of hindered. It was very easy to enjoy - 8/10.
The fried rice was actually the first main item that we tried. I would've preferred the rice to be much much dryer, but it came pretty moist and almost borderline "mushy". The flavor felt insubstantial, and almost came off as a "filler" dish - something to take up space in the stomach but not necessarily something that would've been enjoyable. BUT, when paired with the dry hot pot, it seems like there's a certain sweetness to the rice and it becomes a healthy balance between spice, flavor, and texture when mixed together. I would recommend these dishes to be enjoyed this way, otherwise the fried rice by itself felt really subpar.
Overall, they provided great serving sizes for all the dishes and we definitely got our fill. Solid place to get dry hot pot!
