Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
The whataburger in Atlanta, Texas was horrible!! I ordered a patty melt and a hamburger...the meat(patty) smelled bad on both orders, the bread on the patty melt was burned, the fries were cold, and the root beer didn't taste like root beer...I wasn't given a receipt...it was a terrible presentation...I would not visit again...I can't believe the manager let them put that out...!!

I ordered a #5 meal, swapping a shake for my soda, and asked for a glass of water. Either the young man was mistaken or Whatatburger has reduced their customer service. The guy at the register said I'd have to pay full price of a soda if I wanted a cup for the water. Ohy Gosh!?

Plenty of employees in the store but somehow took 30 minutes to get food and order was wrong. No bacon on a bacon taquito. There were two ladies literally fighting with each other in the cooking area. One of the ladies got mad and went by the bathrooms yelling about the other lady where customers were. Then I guess the lady she called came up there cussing. Our food was just sitting on the counter with no one acknowledging the bag. This is terrible management and the employees are soooooo lazy. Seems they over staffed and not doing anything but fighting. Most toxic whataburger I’ve ever been to.

I really enjoy this location but the service has become extremely hit or miss. I’ve also decided that I just never want to go to this location for breakfast or to pick up breakfast unless I go through the drive thru. I ordered my sandwich at 7:56 through the app and went inside to pick up. I didn’t receive my sandwich until 8:18 am. I was told that there were drive thru orders that needed fulfilling before my own order of one sandwich. I guess to receive the service you deserve you have to go through the drive thru. I wouldn’t recommend breakfast if you’re needing a quick pick up inside, or I guess just do the drive thru.

Worst Whataburger in the world. There will be no customers inside or in the drive thru, EIGHT people in the back, and they'll still screw up your very small simple order for 2 people. How can you mess up 2 tendies baskets? Somehow they find a way. I've never gotten a complete order from here. One box will have the fries, the other will just be tenders, only one person gets their sauce, partially frozen tenders that I have to throw in the toaster oven, missing tenders, only half a piece of toast, and more!
Today when I came in the young gentleman didn't say a word the entire time I ordered and made me feel like a criminal for asking for spicy ketchup. Took 20 minutes to make my order. I was beyond ready to leave after hearing the gas station cashiers gossip about some suuuuuuper inappropriate stuff. Got home and realized my partners order didnt have his fries, my order didn't have the bbq sauce, and it looks like they broke a tender in half and gave us each half of it. Oh and I had only half a toast which is weird.
Idk what happened to this place but it's gone downhill HARD and I'm definitely not going to be coming back. My theory is that they hired all the people who got fired from McDonalds after they cleaned up the McDonalds and turned it around.
I regret it every time I try to eat here.
