Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

My thoughtful hardworking husband suggested I take a night off from cooking and offered to get me a meal from one of my favorite places. I ordered the sweet and spicy burger meal with large fries and a strawberry shake. It cost $20 for my order alone! The fries seem like they were made in the morning or the day before. They're terrible and they weren't even a full order of large fries, which were inedible anyway. The burger was pretty much a regular dry bacon cheeseburger because it didn't have any sweet and spicy sauce. Maybe it was misted with sauce because I taste a hint of it but it's drier than a desert. Our other two orders weren't fresh either but my husband and toddler ate most of it because they were hungry. For this reason my husband doesn't like eating out much. I definitely got a big "I told you so.", from my husband. Now I have to wait a couple weeks before he'll consider going through this again. Thanks a lot. :( Can you actually read my review and survey then do something about it. Thank you. I apologize if I sound rude but I'm angry and still hungry, plus I have to cook now. Yippee.

They don’t pay attention to your order at the drive thru, ask to to repeat it a second time and still get it wrong. I was the only vehicle in the drive thru and very few in the parking lot. Highly disappointed. This isn’t the first time this has happened. It will be a while before I dine there again.

I’ve consistently had poor experiences with the day shift here. The employees are rude and often treat customers like an inconvenience. More than once, food and drinks were basically dumped into my car without any courtesy, followed by the window being shut immediately.Because of this, I only visit after 11 PM now. The night shift staff are friendly, attentive, and genuinely care about customer service. The contrast is huge. After six negative experiences with different day shift employees, I’ve learned to avoid this place during daytime hours. The day shift could really take notes from the night crew on how to treat customers.
