Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

You'll have 1 employee cleaning trays and asking how you're doing, and also inform you the other employee will take your order. I'd like to know when??? Because all she did was carry on a conversation with her 2 friends. They get their orders in, and just have a nice little conversation while you wait for your turn....... but your turn NEVER COMES BECAUSE THEY DON'T SHUT UP.
- EGEliana Garcia1 day ago3.0Depending on the day you visit you could be waiting quite a while, food is a hit or miss. Fries felt like they had been reheated and I always make sure all my food is correct before I leave as they tend to forget something. I would go to a different whataburger.

They always want me to pull forward and wait so they can make it look like they're serving people fast while they are the absolute slowest of all the fast food chains. 20 minutes for a breakfast biscuit is wild. People were friendly, food was good if luke warm, (what are they doing?!), just took forever for food that had obviously sat.

I had to place and pay for another order just to get what I wanted. How is someone like this a manger is beyond me. Daniella very rude very disrespectful last time ever coming to this whataburger did not try to help me at all and accused me of lying. Wish I could give this location zero stars I would.
