Piccolo Mondo is an Italian Restaurant located in the heart of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. We specialize in authentic Italian cuisine in a fine-dining atmosphere. We have live music Wednesday through Saturday beginning at 7 pm in our Piano Bar and our bar is stocked with top shelf liquors as well as an extensive wine list. We have the availability to host private events in our Banquet Room and love to help our patrons celebrate moments both big and small. Our menu features specialty dishes daily and a vast array of classic favorites, everything from Spaghetti Bolognese to Osso Bucco Milanese and Lobster Isabella, as well as fresh seafood and prime beef options. We pride ourselves on our top notch service and quality scratch cooking to provide our patrons with a celebratory evening out!

The atmosphere and service was nice but the food quality simply wasn’t overall. The tortellini nonna dish was good, but my family had the eggplant parmigiana and the spaghetti bolognese with extra meatballs. The spaghetti dish was ok but the meatballs were a bit undercooked. But the eggplant dish was inedible for my wife. It was hard to even find the eggplant in the dish with all the breading and cheese, and there was almost no marinara sauce on the spaghetti side dish. She ate a few bites and simply stopped. This one dish needs some attention. The music in the restaurant was a bonus however, and it was very enjoyable. Overall I’d have to give the restaurant an average rating. Disappointed as we were hoping for a better dining experience.
