My family and I arrived around 8:00 PM, just an hour before closing, and honestly expected that we might feel like we were inconveniencing the staff by coming in so late. Instead, from the moment we walked in, we were made to feel completely welcome. Every staff member we encountered was absolutely fantastic. There was never a hint that we were a bother, and the entire team continued to be friendly, welcoming, and professional right up until closing. Then came Regina, who took our experience to an entirely different level. We have eaten at countless restaurants over the years, and I can genuinely say that Regina provided some of the best service we have ever experienced anywhere. She was incredibly kind, friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. She took the time to answer our questions, made conversation with us, and made us feel like valued guests rather than just another table. What completely amazed us was finding out during our conversation that this was only her second shift! You never would have known it. Her work ethic, professionalism, confidence, and attention to detail were remarkable. She was an absolute natural. We also noticed how well the entire staff worked together. Everyone seemed to genuinely support one another, moving efficiently while still maintaining smiles and a great attitude. That kind of teamwork says so much about the culture of a restaurant. We left genuinely impressed and already talking about coming back. In fact, we will happily drive an extra 30+ minutes just to visit this location again. Pappasito’s Arlington — you have an incredible team, and Regina is an absolute standout! Thank you for making what could have simply been a late dinner into an experience our family will remember. We can’t wait to come back! ❤️

The shrimp brochette is bacon wrapped, charred and crspy and the shrimp is perfectly cooked. The restaurant has a great atmosphere. Cons: It is so loud that we could barely hear across the table at times. The plates and appetizer bowls are so large for the tables. We only had 3 people at our table and if we had a full 4 top, the other person would not have had room for a plate or drinks!

The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and the fantastic food makes it one of my absolute favorite places to eat. You truly cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. The food is consistently delicious, thoughtfully prepared, and packed with incredible flavor from start to finish. What truly elevates the experience, however, is the outstanding hospitality. Our waitress, Coby, was an absolute delight. She possesses incredible character, a sharp wit, and a bright sense of humor that kept us smiling throughout our time there. Her engaging, attentive, and genuinely fun personality added a refreshing sparkle to our table, turning a great lunch into a truly memorable occasion. Whether you are dropping in for a casual bite or celebrating a special evening out, this spot delivers perfection. I could go on and on praising it, but the bottom line is simple: go experience Coby’s wonderful service and amazing food for yourself.
- FTF TSep 18, 20265.0I found the vibes of this place to be fun! It’s huge, with a big indoor space and a large outdoor area, and the vibes are great. Everybody seems to genuinely enjoy working there, which makes such a difference. Our server Kayla was incredibly happy, smiling and welcoming, and offered amazing customer service throughout. The food was great! They have a cook-from-scratch kitchen, which means everything is prepared from scratch. They brought fresh chips and salsa to the table, and kept refilling the bowl with freshly made chips throughout the meal. The salsa was a little spicy for me, but very tasty. I tried the shrimp quesadilla, and oh my God, were they delicious! The shrimp tasted like they had been char-grilled, which I absolutely loved. They were chunky, fresh and full of flavor. We also ordered sangria. Just be careful because the regular glasses are huge! 😂 It did come with ice, which I’m not a fan of because sangria is supposed to be cold, but not necessarily iced — although I guess every country makes sangria the way they think is best for their customers. I’m not gonna lie, there was a little bit of a smell inside when we first walked in. My friend told me it was probably from the tortilla chips and whatever they use to make them — I’m guessing the corn — so perhaps that’s what it was. Plenty of free parking available since it’s in a big shopping center with lots of other stores and restaurants.
- KWKim WalkerSep 18, 20261.0Dining at Papasito's Mexican Cantina on Wed, Sep 16, 2026 was far from the usual heat experience I've had there before! From the very beginning, with call ahead assurance that a 10 min wait would have is at a table, with reality that it was more like 45 min once we got there, each step along the way of dining really was a bad experience. We were seated at a table, waited ~10 min to even be acknowledged by our server; the noise level throughout the dining room was entirely unbearable; an overly loud large birthday group of people was shrill and piercing and it was obvious other diners around us were terribly uncomfortable; our menu choices included requests for additional sides that went ignored once at least a half-hour had passed before the first two of our 4-person table were served their dinners, and the other two sat for at least 15 min before the server could be hailed to please bring the other two plates. It was that bad and it was me that had suggested this location while we were in Arlington, because it's always been the best of the Pappasito's in the area. This was bad enough, I don't think I'll ever go back.
