Avoid this location if you expect basic customer service, functional app integration, or management that takes accountability.
We placed an app order for 8 loaves of French bread—an order that went through completely, was paid for, and never triggered a single notification that there was an issue. We drove all the way to the store to pick it up, only to be told they couldn't fulfill it because of a "2 loaves per person" policy. Even when four of us went inside to try to resolve it, they still refused.
What makes this completely ridiculous is that the store had a giant rack full of bread sitting right there with almost no other customers in the building. It’s their prerogative to set whatever store limits they want, but letting a customer order and pay on the app only to make them drive all the way down to be turned away is terrible business. The professional thing to do would be to honor the paid order and fix the app limits on their end.
The only reason this review is even getting 1 star is Francisco, the store manager. He was polite, did his absolute best, and actually tried to handle the situation. Meanwhile, his District Manager, Josh, literally sat in the back room hiding. Instead of stepping up to address an upset customer over their own system's oversight, Josh hid behind a nervous, scared teenager and made them deliver the bad news.
Cowardly leadership from the district level, a broken ordering system, and a complete waste of our time and gas. We’ve bought fresh and day-old bread for years without issue, but this location’s management is an absolute mess.
