  Authentic homestyle Southern food with quick, exceptional service and a cool ambience perfect for relaxing and chatting over good food. The music selection was on point with old country classics, and the smoked chicken was perfectly season. The biscuits were off course off-the-chart delicious—warm and buttery, fresh from the oven—and the banana pudding was the best I’ve ever tasted. If we could eat twice here on our trip to Arlington area, we would, and we’d definitely come again if work brings us through.

  Everything was great but we eat lighter, being seniors, and ended up leaving a lot food to waste. We did take our chicken home. Y'all need a senior menu. The portions are too much, and cost too much, for what we can actually eat. I hated the corn, potatoes, gray and beans being thrown away because they couldn't be taken, though paid for. We like Babe's but can't afford to spend that kind of money on stuff that goes to waste. We will be back, but not sure when.

  Our family took us to this restaurant as they love the food and the atmosphere. I loved how the restaurant took you back in time as well as feeling like I’m in my grandma’s little country town. I appreciate the theme. We were given zero menus though. I was unaware of the charges I’d recieve at the end. As portions are large. We picked 2 chicken fried steaks & an order of chicken stripes for 2 adults & 2 children. Server was lacking in keeping drinks filled & as well as the “endless” sides. They’re not very endless if you don’t get them. When we received the ticket we were charged accordingly for the main portions, but my son received a vegetable charge of $12. Which he only ate spoonfuls of corn a few times. If I’m looking at their menu online there’s a child’s fee that is $6.95. Which is half the amount. So a little disappointed on the honesty given. We’ve been to these types of restaurants. So for the quality, I wouldn’t necessarily say the price is right. Should be lower for Chicken Fried Steak. It’s very thin piece of meat. The chicken stripes were plentiful, but I don’t need that many for a child. Due to the dishonest charge and the quality, I can’t rightfully label this a 5 star experience. We’d go again if our family picked it. Wouldn’t be our first choice type of restaurant if you’re wanting quality food & experience.

  We came in for my sister's birthday and Jacob did such a great job with our large group! He made us feel special and interacted with the group very well. He was accommodating for our small children and very knowledgeable of the menu. The food was delicious and service is top notch! We will definitely be back!

  Great service, Delicious food, Best place!! The fried chicken dinner is the bomb! Comes with 4 pieces of chicken, side of corn, side of mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, biscuits, and a side vinaigrette salad all for $20! Portions are plenty… that dinner can feed 2 ppl or if it’s just for one..you will definitely have leftovers for the next day! Absolutely satisfied!!! One of my favorite places! If you want to eat good and be full..this is your spot! Very family friendly it’s like a home cooked meal but you don’t have to cook! Babes is the best and they are quick with orders! Definitely recommend!
