- LSLindsey Short5 days ago1.0This was suppose to be my new store because my adult child told me I would find better prices. I wouldnt know because I stopped my shopping trip short because most of the produce was rotted or not out. My first problem was trying to find the nectarines that matched the PLU and so I asked the manager Trevor (who was great and very helpful) and he brought out a box of new ones that still did not match the PLU I was looking for so he said he would price match. So I moved on to my next item, zucchini. There was only one so I asked the employee who was stocking veggies and they found a box in the back but when I started going through it half the box was rotted and I got slime all over my hand. As I was standing there another employee noticed my distress and asked if they could help. He took the rotted box away and brought mexican zucchini's and apologized profusely but those wouldnt work for I wanted to cook. He asked if he could help with anything else on my list and we found only two eggplants on the shelf but they also didnt look right so he went in the back and found a couple of decent ones (not the best but at least not rotten ) After that I decided to stop shopping for my entire list and just get what I needed for dinner and breakfast. Grabbed some strawberries but as I was loading my groceries onto the belt I noticed the strawberries were also very moldy. The cashier noticed and apologized and asked if I found everything else I needed, I told her no and about the rotten and missing produce. She caught the manager walking by and we told him everything and again more apologies. The employees seem to be doing their best with little help from Albertsons. Will not be going back. When I got home I realized 1 of the 3 peaches I grabbed was rotten and 1 of the 3 apples I grabbed has black dots all over one side. Do better Albertsons and support your hardworking employees.
