My husband and I had breakfast here. It was fabulous! Best Eggs Bene I have ever had. Slightly spicy, eggs, hollandaise, moist brisket, on a yummy biscuit.

This is our second time eating here and I would come back to angleton just to eat here with my family. The food was great (loved the shrimp and grits, biscuit, burger, and New York strip), the ambiance was great during the daytime and would love to go check it out at night with live music, and intrigued to try the cafe bakery next door as well which is absolutely beautiful and would be great for a baby shower, bridal shower, birthday party or some other special event. The service was excellent both times with attentive staff.

Food was ungodly SALTY! Told the waiter, and he didn't offer to do anything nor did he offer to take anything off the price. I took nearly the entire Chicken Fried Steak home to see if it can be Salvaged. Maybe if I let it cook in the over on top of some sliced russet potatoes, maybe they will absorb some of the salt enough for it to be edible. The potatoes au gratin were the only thing that wasn't overly salty. The Greenbeans were cooked in bacon and salted on top of it, so those were over the top salty as well. The biscuit was DENSE and under cooked in the middle. Definitely will not be back and was not worth $50 Wasn't busy at all, had to ask for drink refill once food came, had to take the payment to the waiter to get him to ring it up - bad service and salty not edible food. We were going to leave a tip but after second thought, the food and service were not worth what we paid and definitely not worth tipping over. I really don't like leaving bad reviews but I wanted to let others know so they can ask for NO SALT on their food and hopefully bring awareness to the lack of service.

what a Southern gem! The food and service here are excellent. I tried the spicy chicken, and it was delicious, super juicy and the perfect level of spice. The coleslaw and pickles on top balanced it out completely. Definitely check this place out if you're looking for a great local restaurant in Angleton.
