We ate here 5/18/20206- I ordered the burger and my husband ordered the fried chicken sandwich. His chicken was WAY way overcooked and it was very dry. My burger was served on a potato bun that was sweet. I asked the server if the bun had a sugar wash brushing. He said, "No, it is a sweet bun." 😳🤢 The burger meat had ZERO seasoning- zero pepper or salt. Blech. Needless to say we won't be back, nor recommend.

Great new spot! The service (host and server) was great and the food was really good! Leaps and bounds ahead of most other boring breakfast spots in Amarillo. Lots of options! The cheese grits were a must! Danasia was one of the best servers we’ve ever had! Definite recommendation, and really smart idea to add yourself to the waitlist online before arrival because we literally only waited 2.5 minutes on a busy Sunday morning!

After having tried this new breakfast place 4-5 Times over the recent weeks, I have to say my overall consensus of this restaurant is bleak at the most. My family, and I simply didn’t enjoy our brunch today. My son didn’t receive his food till 10 or 15 minutes after we received ours. When it came to the table finally The food was so overcooked he could barely cut it. I finally got a hold of the waitress and asked for a different meal to be provided for him. She had an attitude about having to re-order food for him. She didn’t even apologize for the food being overdone. When he got his second meal delivered half of it was incorrect. I asked to speak with the manager and he never showed up to our table. The waitress made an excuse about how she had too many things going on. Yes, I understand it was Mother’s Day but they weren’t even busy. They had multiple tables open. I can see why they weren’t busy because the food and the service is lacking. I will definitely not be returning until they figure out how to run a Proper restaurant.

They had a rough start from opening. But have bounced back wonderfully It seems any new restaurant that opens in this area gets overwhelmed on opening so wait time in the first few weeks should not go against them. The food I had was great the dragon fruit pancake is really rich I would suggest asked for no icing. . The plates run about 13-20$ but add-ons can be pricey. I had no wait in the morning w I th what seemed like a full parking lot. Chris the manager does check around and speak with guests as his time allows and seems like he really cares and is riendly person. The only criticism I have is that the drip coffee is just okay.

I'm already planning my next visit to this restaurant - the food was that good. I got so caught up in devouring my meal that I almost forgot to take a picture. My bad! I got the same thing I always get at every breakfast place. Bacon and eggs. I could choose between grits or a hash brown casserole. I have to say that hash brown casserole was top notch. The vibe there was cool and contemporary with plenty of seating. I was there for lunch on a weekday, so it wasn’t super busy. I can only imagine how packed it must get on Saturdays. No thanks, I'll stick to weekdays.
