We enjoy the convenient drive-thru but when we have eaten in the restaurant, it's been a great experience. The atmosphere is inviting and fun. The sausage is to die for. I highly recommend!
- CCCarlos CMay 7, 20263.0I used to go to Rudy’s years ago and it was always consistent and really good, so I was looking forward to going back. When I came in, I was greeted quickly and the service started off fine. I ordered moist brisket, baby back ribs, a baked potato, and a soda. I asked if the baby back ribs were tender and fall off the bone, and I was told they were. Unfortunately, the first brisket I received was dry and tasted like it had been reheated. The baby back ribs were also cold, dry, tough, and not fall off the bone at all. For over $50, it was pretty disappointing. That said, the lady working the register was very nice and handled it well. I explained the issue, and she immediately helped me out. I asked to switch to brisket since they were cutting a fresh one, and I even offered to pay the difference, but she told me not to worry about it. The replacement brisket was fresh and much better. Overall, the food was not what I remembered from Rudy’s, and this is the second time recently that it has not met expectations. But the employee who helped me definitely made the situation better, and I appreciated her professionalism.

I was so confused I wanted to leave before I ordered but one of the cashiers, a tall, black, crazy haired, friendly young man put 3 samples of meat in front of us to taste test. I took the simplest sandwich, brisket, but wanted it chopped. It came sliced and had very little taste. My friend ordered the same thing and his was delicious. No sides because it was too confusing to pick. Atmosphere? There was none.
