- SSShayne SmithMay 8, 20264.0Outback Steakhouse in Amarillo was an okay experience overall. The service was excellent — we had fresh bread and salad almost immediately, and both tasted great. I ordered the steak and lobster filet cooked medium with Aussie fries. They didn’t get the Aussie fries quite right at first only brought me french fries but then corrected it immediately, and unfortunately the lobster was only lukewarm while the steak ended up more well done than medium. The food was still okay, just not quite as good as I remember it being in the past. The staff, however, were friendly and attentive throughout the meal.
