**Domino’s on Nelson — Customer Service Experience**
If you’re ordering from the Domino’s on Nelson, I would strongly recommend making sure you have **more than an hour to wait** before placing your order.
I placed my order at approximately **8:00 PM** and arrived around **8:30 PM**. The man at the drive-thru window told us to go back around because there was approximately a **4-minute wait**. We followed his instructions and went back around.
When we reached the window again, a different employee came to the window and asked us to pull to the side. I asked how much longer the wait would be, and she responded, **“Bro, I don’t know, just pull to the side.”** I asked her why she called me “bro,” but honestly just pulled to the side to avoid anything.
Around **8:50 PM**, I got out of my vehicle and went inside because we had already been waiting for quite some time. At that point, the employee inside **could not even locate our order**. I explained what had happened at the drive-thru and how long we had been waiting. He looked for the order but was unable to find it.
At that point, yes, I was irritated. We had been waiting since 8:00 PM, had followed the instructions given to us by the employees, and still did not have our food.
The manager then came to the front. Instead of trying to understand the situation or apologize for the confusion, his body language and tone came across as very aggressive, moving his head, and pointing very close. He honestly looked very agitated, He gave me 2 options 1)refund my money, but explained that it could take approximately three days to return to my account. 2)His other option was for them to make our order, but we would have to continue waiting.
At this point I wasn’t going to continue going back and forth.
I told him it was ok just to refund the money and I left.
I asked for the name of the main manager because I wanted to address the situation appropriately, and he told me that **he was the main manager**.
I completely understand that businesses can be short-staffed and that mistakes happen. What I do not understand is the lack of communication and the way customers are treated when those mistakes occur.
If you are running behind, **just communicate that with your customers.** If an order is going to take an hour, tell people. If an order gets lost or there is a mistake, apologize and explain the situation. Customers are much more understanding when they are treated with respect.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with this Domino’s. I called to place an order, and the employee who answered the phone was rude, impatient, and acted like I was bothering them just by asking a couple of questions about the menu. They interrupted me several times and had an unfriendly attitude throughout the call, which made for a poor customer service experience before I even received my food. When my pizza finally arrived, it was just as disappointing. It was barely warm, the crust was overcooked and tough, there was very little cheese, and the toppings were unevenly spread across the pizza. It looked like it had been thrown together in a hurry without any quality check. Overall, the combination of poor customer service and low-quality food made this one of the worst Domino’s experiences I’ve had. I won’t be ordering from this location again unless significant improvements are made.
