Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

The drive through lady was so sweet...I can tell that late night crew ROCKS together for a smooth flow.

Honestly worst experience I have had. The drive thru was not answered when I got there one I had to go to the other lane my order was taken but once I got to the window they had to take it again. Leaving me to wait over 25 minutes total. They forgot my drink and one specific girl was clearly out of it. She was messing around and was joking with me saying my card declined when it had not. I don’t know if she was just tired or if she had something more serious going on, but that was completely unacceptable, especially after waiting so long and having everything else going wrong. This restaurant really needs to figure things out.

Visiting from out of town - came to visit this Whataburger a few times because it’s close to where we are staying. Wonderful food - service was a little strange. They have two lanes. But when you use the B side, they forget about you because I guess people just zipper into the A line, but there is absolutely no communication from staff that that’s the deal. We waited a long time, then - when we told them our order was wrong - the attendant said “Well that’s what I gave you because that’s what is on the receipt.” And I said “I understand. I’m now telling you that isn’t what I said, but is what got inputted. Can you please take this back and let them know a mistake was made?” And he said “sure” and it all worked out in the end. The food slapped and those banana pudding shakes got a choke hold on me. The onion rings are sooooooo good. But also, both times - absolutely 0 napkins were given. Whataburger is definitely napkin needing food.

I am not one to write reviews, first of all. I hope my review does not impact anyone's job status. I was at the Whataburger Stacy Rd location and wasn't very pleased with the customer service. The food was just fine and always tastes just as I like it to be. The workers that took my order and served it in the drive thru sound like they hate their job. At any fast food restaurant, before driving up to the window, the customer should be asked if they want sauces or anything. I never got that question. If they asked it, I would've said yes. That's my fault as well, and I own up to that. When I paid for the food, I asked if they could add some ketchup in the bag. Never got it. The gentlemen that gave me my food didn't really engage with me. No smile on his face or any politeness, frankly. I did my part and said thank you, sir, but never got even a look in the eye after I said that. This establishment, and maybe even all the locations, need a professional training in customer service so that they can have customers that want to come back not just for the food, but also for an outstanding consumer experience. Once again, I hope my review does not impact anyone job title, pay, or status in the workplace. Take this as constructive criticism.
