  Had the number 2 Chicago dog special, reminds me of my time in Chicago! Excellent flavor and the traditional Chicago toppings. Great fries as well.

  Wow! Wow! Wow! First time here and definitely won't be the last. Unfortunately, we do not have a Portillo's in the PNW, so when I visit the family, you know that I'll be at Portillo's. We stopped by on 9 September, roughly around 5:30 pm, no line <YES!>. Three #3s were ordered. We didn't have to wait long for our meals. Very delicious, very juicy cheeseburgers. The staff were cordial and outstanding. One young man offered to refill our sodas, and the manager walked by to ask how we were doing. Do them and yourself a favor and stop by, you won't regret it.

  I am from Chicago, and this Portillos location is an embarrassment to the rest of the Portillos. My biggest complaint is that I found MOLD in my drink. There are two soda machines on the floor for customer use. The first side I tried I pushed the water button and it wouldn't work, lemonade came out. So I proceeded to go to the other side to try and get water. This time water did indeed come out but I looked down in my cup and a huge chunk of mold was floating in my cup. It was obvious that this machine is NEVER cleaned. I looked at the ice dispenser and sure enough it was covered in nasty gray goo and mold. Other customers that were about to get drinks for their children thanked me for pointing it out to them. I asked for a manager, the girl told me she was in a meeting and that she could get me a new drink from the machine behind the counter. I denied because at that point I dont trust the cleanliness. It took me asking three times for a manager before one finally came out. I told her and showed her. She said she would have someone clean it. She did not offer me a refund or a new drink. Felt like she did the bare minimum for something incredibly nasty. She didn't seem to care at all. Aside from the drinks when we arrived the woman at the register kept correcting us on our order. She corrected my mother during her order and then corrected me. We have been to portillos more than I could count and I have never been corrected on what I ordered. It was strange and rude. Overall not a good experience. 0 stars for cleanliness. I will not be returning. My whole family ended up getting sick after this visit. I will be letting the better business buero know so they can inspect further. These are hazardous conditions for consumers.

  While I was there, a group of teenage girls (not even employees) were allowed into the kitchen with their bare toes out, and hair flying freely. Super weird and unhygienic. I could tell the kitchen employees were confused and uncomfortable. So who let this happen? Multiple groups of these girls did it multiple times within the same day. Didn’t even want my food anymore. Just ew.

  This is the 2nd time in a row I’ve ordered my big Italian and I always ask for it to be EXTRA wet/dipped and it’s as dry as the Sahara desert. There is nothing dipped about this sandwich. They’ve done it once where it was sopping wet and it was perfect. My pregnancy cravings just completely disappointed. At this point I’m going to have to go to a different establishment because the Allen location can’t follow directions.
