  I ordered an Amritsari Kulcha, and when I got home, it was so badly cooked that it was impossible to eat. The crust was burnt and hard, and the overall quality was very disappointing. Based on what I received, the concerns raised in many of the reviews seem legitimate. I hope the restaurant puts more effort into improving its food quality and consistency instead of focusing on getting 5-star reviews.

  If you’re looking for true North Indian flavors in DFW, Chandigarh Bites Express is a must-visit. The food tastes authentic and reminds you of home, with flavors that are hard to find elsewhere. The staff is always polite, welcoming, and willing to accommodate special requests, which makes the overall experience even better. A special mention goes to their Sarson da Saag and Amritsari Kulcha—both are absolute must-haves and among the best I’ve had in the area. Every dish is prepared with care, and you can tell that authenticity and quality are their priorities. Highly recommended for anyone craving genuine Punjabi and North Indian food. Looking forward to coming back and trying more items from the menu!

  Cute little place for getting the authentic Chole Bhature and Amritsari Kulcha. The flavors are on point. The dahi puri was perfectly seasoned and aloo tikki tasted good with the crunch. Definitely coming back for Chole Bhature

  Had a great experience at Chandigarh Bites Express on our first visit. We tried the Dahi Puri, Malai Soya Chaap, and Amritsari Kulcha — and everything was delicious. The Dahi Puri had the perfect balance of tangy and sweet flavors (one of the best we have had in a long time). Malai Soya Chaap and Amritsari Kulcha were rich, flavorful and had authentic flavors — something that’s honestly hard to find in the DFW area. One thing we would love to see over time is a little more seating space, especially because the place seems to get quite busy, which is great to see. They seem fairly new, and it would be wonderful if they’re able to expand into a bigger space in the future with more seating and an upgraded ambience. That said, the food truly speaks for itself. Definitely a 5-star experience for us, and I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic North Indian flavors in DFW.

  We visited the restaurant today as a group of three people. Initially, we were informed that the waiting time would be around 50 minutes, but we ended up waiting for more than an hour. After the wait, we were assigned a small side table that was quite uncomfortable for three adults. Additionally, the table was unstable and kept wobbling. What was disappointing was that larger tables remained empty during this time, yet we were not offered one. Meanwhile, a group of six people who arrived only a few minutes earlier than us was seated immediately. Based on the interaction, it appeared they were personally known to the staff. This gave us the impression that customers were being treated differently based on familiarity or the expected business value, rather than following the waiting list fairly. Regarding the food, we ordered the Amritsari Chole Kulcha and specifically requested it to be spicy, but it lacked flavor and was not spicy at all. Overall, the food quality did not meet expectations. I would suggest that the management treat all customers equally, regardless of the group size. Fair and respectful treatment of every customer is important and reflects good ethics and customer service.
