  Took some family for their birthday as the last time I did this the experience was very nice. This visit was not so memorable. Our table was handed off as the first server wanted to go home which was fine as we could tell from her sullen demeanor her heart wasn't in to her job on this day. The secondary server was fine but as the restaurant was not busy, customary service standards were lacking - a direct reflection on training and management, and ultimately the server for either lack of knowledge, motivation or care. I didn't press the AARP discount or dessert offering as I did not want take away from the simple enjoyment of being with family and causing a stir, that is on me. However, a less than fortunate experience nonetheless compared to our last visit. Upon departure I did notice a different manager's name in association with this location which in this case definitely could be the difference.

  It is unfortunate that I no longer go to this location. Why? Prime Rib was taken off the menu. This location prepared a very good quality prime rib for a reasonable price. I told management about it a couple months ago, provided a comment on the kiosk and it remains off the menu. I'm going to miss Outback. They can keep their seven sirloin choices.

  This is a review about the establishment. Most of us know what to expect at an Outback. For a business traveler, you choose a chain for this reason. I stopped in tonight. The parking lot was maybe half full. I walked in as a party of one. Is was quiet in there. Yes, I was told they were at capacity. They tried to get a server to take me but they said no. I left...no big deal. I am guessing a few people called off or no one wants to work for the manager because I don't see issues at any other restaurants in the area. I headed down to Kenny's Grill and got right in and they were very busy. I won't be headed back to an Outback again anytime soon if they cannot accommodate a wary traveller.
