The Lazy Dog was not worth my money unfortunately, I was looking forward to eating a chicken sandwich while visiting Dallas on my staycation. What I received was undercooked, rough and tough chicken... it was not edible and when I called back , I spoke to a manager there who took all of my information and said that he would refund my $55 that we spend on 2 undercooked chicken sandwiches and a cheeseburger. We'll, I never even received the refund back to my account. So I DO NOT recommend this place in Addison. Plus the parking lot initiative restaurant area is extremely crowded and the reseas hard to find. 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾

Food and service were good. Management was so horrible that it ruined the whole experience. I came here to watch Mexico play in the world cup game. The restaurant was dead empty so we asked to be sat in front of one of the many tvs. The manager for some reason decided to convince us that the game was delayed and that we wouldnt be able to watch it in the next 2 hours. The manager then sat us next to the restrooms and out of view of any TV. The game then came on as soon as our food arrived and we were the only people in the restaurant. Our whole experience was ruined by that horrible manager.

Simply left speechless with how amazing everyone and everything was! The firecracker shrimp was perfectly cooked! The shrimp tacos were amazing along with the country fried steak! The entire staff makes you feel very welcomed no matter the rush and will check in with you to make sure you are satisfied/happy even if they aren’t apart of your area. We were here for the ending of the Spain game and everything was flawless despite the rush they were having. I recommend this to anyone whom wants to enjoy an amazing meal and feel very well taken care of like family. I love this place.

I was genuinely surprised by our experience today because this has always been one of our favorite places. My toddler and I were seated outside, then watched multiple tables that arrived after us receive drinks, order, and even get their food while no one ever came to our table. In the Dallas heat, we sat without water, silverware, or even knowing who our server was. Another server was regularly on the patio, but despite passing our table several times, no one checked on us or asked if we’d been helped. Eventually, I packed up our table and went inside to find help. It was obvious something had gone wrong behind the scenes, but Bailee and the host were not the problem. Bailee immediately stepped in, got us taken care of, checked on us throughout the meal, and even provided appetizer coupons. The host was also incredibly sweet and made my son’s day by letting him pick our table. My disappointment is that no one else acknowledged what had happened or took ownership of fixing it. A manager never stopped by, and the experience remained disjointed from start to finish. Bailee handled a situation she didn’t create, and she’s the reason we stayed. I hope management recognizes her, because she embodied the Lazy Dog hospitality we’ve come to expect.

This was our first visit to Lazy Dog in Addison, and the food was the highlight of the experience. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meals, and the quality of the food met our expectations. Unfortunately, the service did not match the quality of the food. We were never offered drink refills despite having several teas, sodas, and lemonades at the table. There were very few check-ins throughout the meal, and overall the service felt inattentive. What made this more noticeable was that the restaurant was not busy at all. There were numerous empty tables throughout our visit, so it didn't appear that the staff was overwhelmed or dealing with an unusually high volume of guests. Our bill also included a tip of more than $25, which is a level of gratuity I am happy to leave when service is attentive and proactive. However, given the lack of refills and limited interaction from our server, the overall service experience did not seem to reflect that level of tip. The restaurant was clean, family-friendly, and the food was good, which is why I'm giving it 3 stars rather than a lower rating. With more attentive service, this could easily have been a 5-star experience. I would consider returning and hope the service is better next time.
