- NBNyzere BakerAug 26, 20261.0Curbside pickup is trash. They made us wait for a while, then when I get home and look through the groceries they left out 17 items that I paid for. And the fix is for me to drive back across town to get my missing groceries, and they don’t throw in a coupon or anything for the trouble.

- RPRichard PhillipsAug 23, 20265.0In my opinion, HEB is about as good as it gets when it comes to grocery stores. Good prices, great selection, employees willing to help you. But, HEB here in Abilene is way to small of a store to accommodate the growth that Abilene has experienced in the last few years. The aisles are jammed with shoppers and their carts. The checkout cashiers are all backed up with multiple carts in each lane. Now, it appears that they are going to redo the parking lot to accommodate more cars. Over 2 million dollars worth of "improvements ". Sure would be nice to have them build a HEB+ here.

I've been shopping HEB for more that 25 years but am now choosing to go to other grocery stores because: 1) way to hard to find a parking spot that is within walking distance for me 2) the aisles in the store are nearly impassable because of so many curbside carts in the way 3) the checkout lines are almost always having to que in the pedestrian aisles making it difficult for those not in line yet to navigate from aisle to aisle. I read that the parking lot is going to be "under construction" which will only make things worse. I will miss shopping HEB, but just can't deal with all the negatives.
