- BEBrittany EnglishJun 24, 20263.0We don't live in Abilene, however we travel through quite often. We always stopped at the Clack street location; good food, good service, great facility. Making an 8 hour trip with 3 kids 5 and under is a challenge but we all always look forward to stopping at CFA for food and a break. The new location leaves a lot to be desired. While I've had no issues with staff, and the newness is pristine and clean, the parking lot is a nightmare to get in and out of. The bathroom was downgraded from one with 3 stalls and 2 changing tables (one inside the stall and one outside), to only 2 stalls and only access to changing table inside a stall. I had to wait for 30 minutes (I kid you not) to use the bathroom. My kids and I almost all wet our pants and I was ready to take my kids over to the men's restroom and use it. For some, this bathroom change seems insignificant, but to those with young families it is not. The parking lot was so busy and chaotic, I couldn't even use my car to change a diaper. So I had to wait on the only big stall to be free, unless someone wants poopy diapers changed in the middle of the restaurant where everyone is eating. CFA can't control when someone takes forever to do their business, but decreasing number of stalls in the women's restroom (which already almost always has a line) and decreasing the number of changing tables for a "family friendly establishment" seems unwise to me. There were even staff members who ran out of time on their break to wait on a bathroom stall to be available. The play place also leaves a lot to be desired. No slide, no tunnels....just one set of stairs to climb up and down. Its about ⅓ to ½ the size of the previous play area, so if there's like 3 families that have 2 or more kids wanting to play, they're crammed inside like sardines. You got wall puzzles and things for critical thinking? Cool. I need something to get energy out, not exercise their brain. Sorry, this is not an upgrade to me. Its a downgrade. I guess this review is more for the families with young children and for corporate CFA that you made bad decisions here for those of us with young families. We love CFA, but may have to start utilizing other places for ease of access, bathroom access, and better play for the kids.

We accidentally made our order for pickup instead of drive thru and she walked all the way from drive thru to inside and got our order like wow. People can be so hard on food service workers as if they don’t their own lives, you cannot expect someone to be kind like a robot when you’re not even treating them like a human. She deserves a raise such a sweet soul. Unfortunately I did not get her name

It was lightly guarded by a platoon of workers. The scene was very brutal. Fries on the floor of the kitchen and workers thinking about how they should’ve asked for the day off. We were all out of our minds. Little did we know… the fate of the brigade. We approached carefully upon the hill that Chick Fil A laid on. BAM… The workers they shot at us… not with bullets, not anything deadly… they shot nuggets at us…Unresistable nuggets. My friends…. My brother dived in front of me. I couldn’t believe it. 100’s of men fallen to ground in one bite… My Sergeant woke me up and yelled at me to “GET OUT OF HERE” before they get you. I ran, and ran until... I woke up… captured. A POW, held against my will. By the insatiable thirst for nuggets. Come here… but at your own risk… you’ll become addicted……..
