I was expecting maybe texas toast! Turns out the patty melt is just the same burger, with buns flipped 🙃 upside down and grilled onions. For the same price. I was disappointed to say the least. I would have rather had my buns the regular way with all the toppings.

It almost looked like mine were made of pieced together scraps. The only topping I added was onions. And they were 80% in the foiled wrapper and not on my burger. The slices of cheese were so much bigger than the burger ladies that I pulled off about 1/3 or more of the unmelted cheese slices hanging off the sides of the burger. Very disappointed I shelled out money for this. The fries though? 10/10. Most of the tables were dirty, too.

I had placed an online order to Minnesota, but am not from here so went to the Louise location. These are 17 minutes from each other, which means I was quite late to picking up my order on time. She ended up getting us fresh, hot fries (everyone knows five guys fries are way better fresh). We didn’t even say we went to the wrong location, she just went above and beyond to accommodate for my mistake. I have never had this happen at any restaurant and though our interaction was 30 seconds, I would recommend this restaurant and location 100 times over to anyone who asks where to eat in Sioux Falls. I didn’t have any cash on me, but if I did, I would’ve given it to her for making our day wonderful. Thank you to her for amazing customer service. I hope she gets the recognition she deserves. Also this location is a lot less busy than the Louise so I recommend for that reason as well.
