  Dinner for 2 $50. Very clean restaurant. Staff was very nice and attentive. Plenty of parking. Family-friendly, kid friendly atmosphere. I had beef Caldo de Res. It was a little spicy and didn't come with much vegetables, had alot of beef just not much vegetables. It had no cabbage at all. The rice was very delicious. He had a beef burrito and he left most of it. That should tell you. The queso with sausage was very delicious. Very good service. The red sauce was too hot for me but Hubby liked it.

  Si realmente quieres comer auténtica comida mexicana, este lugar es para ti. Cada platillo tiene un sabor que te transporta a una cocina mexicana tradicional. La comida está fresca, recién hecha y preparada con mucho cuidado. Además, el servicio fue excelente; los meseros fueron muy amables, atentos y siempre pendientes de que no nos faltara nada. Lo recomiendo al 100% y sin duda volveré cuando visite Rapid City nuevamente. If you’re truly looking for authentic Mexican food, this is the place to go. Every dish has flavors that take you straight to a traditional Mexican kitchen. The food is fresh, made to order, and prepared with great care. The service was excellent as well; the staff was friendly, attentive, and always made sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back the next time I visit Rapid City.

  I tried other Mexican restaurants but PV is my favorite. They have a good menu and every option is yummy. They have bar area separate from the dining for those who want that option. Theres also outdoor seating. The servers are nice and the food comes out quick. They are big plates too.

  I ordered ceviche for lunch, and realized they did not devein the shrimp. I verified that food service regulations required raw prepared shrimp to be deveined due to sanitary reasons. When I brought this to the servers attention, she went back to the kitchen and spoke with the cook, and came back and told me we'll see if this does anything. I was not offered a refund or a replacement for my food item, so I left hungry. I would not recommend this place if you are planning on having ceviche or any cold shrimp product.

  This restaurant made for a quick convenient dinner while staying at a nearby hotel. The food is not authentic Vallartense as the name would suggest. It’s typical tex-mex with a few options to change a meat to pastor or birria that might make some dishes seem a little more “PV.” Otherwise, the portions were huge and the service was good. We were seated quickly and the food came out fast. EDIT: I am changing my review to 2 stars because of the AI response it received. AI replies are super disingenuous and create a disconnect and mistrust with your customers.
