35 minutes to make order. 10 minutes to get everything they forgot. Place has been a joke since it opened

Stopped by on a Sunday morning on my way to work. One car was pulling out of the drive through and maybe 1 additional car in the lot. I figured going through drive through of a fast food restaurant would be fine. After taking my payment, I went to the second window. No one approached for 12 minutes. When someone did come to the window, they handed me my drink and asked me to pull up to the third window to wait. He did explain they had a bun warmer down (not sure if he meant a Bunn warmer for the food or bun warmer for the hamburger bun) today that was causing delay. I pulled up to the 3rd window and waited an additional 8 minutes. At that point I had to leave or I was going to be late to work. Staff were friendly enough during interactions (taking payment and letting me know I'd have to wait longer). When I have worked in restaurants and fast food, 10+ minutes would have been beyond unacceptable by management, and addressed with the staff. I ordered a burger value combo with nuggets, fries and drink. I understand things can take longer, but this is becoming a new expectation from fast food restaurants that customers will have to not only pay similar prices, but wait similar time frames for food that they would at a sit down restaurant. It blows my mind that for the same cost and time, you can get better quality food and sit down versus driving through in your car.

The manager made a VERY dangerous ASSUMPTION and threatened my family. She used profanity and threats against us. Slander, defamation, discrimination, all things we experienced in one drive through visit. I have NEVER had any issues anywhere else or even there before. But someone decided to make a dangerous assumption and threaten us. To ASSUME that something was done that illegal, when in fact it was done the safe and responsible way, is sickening. Will be speaking to lawyers. Edit to add: Someone from corporate did reach out to me same day to make things right. Moral of the story: YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT SOMEONE IS GOING THROUGH IN THEIR LIFE TO MAKE A JUDGEMENT BASED ON AN ASSUMPTION!! It doesn’t matter if you had a bad day or not, or if you agree with their beliefs or not. When you work customer service, you DO NOT EVER curse and accuse and threaten customers. Ever.
