- BNBrittany NMay 10, 20261.0Great food but I had a horrifying experience at the Dell Rapids Pizza Ranch today. As we walked in the door, what I can only assume was management (a middle aged woman) was screaming at a young minor boy for all the customers to hear behind the kitchen wall. Loudly scolding him in a degrading way and saying his name. He then proceeded to come around the wall to the register and looked absolutely humiliated and petrified and started to help customers. My nervous system was unsettled for the entire visit. I later saw her with her finger in his face behind the front counter (for all to see) yet again scolding him in a degrading way and not even letting him speak and interrupting him while talking down to him on some sort of power trip. Absolutely inexcusable behavior by management and verbal abuse to the young male employee. We won’t be inclined to support this location after we witnessed this disrespectful and completely unprofessional behavior and verbal abuse of an employee. I can only imagine how she treats the rest of the employees behind closed doors.

I was trying to get a chance to speak to him 1 on 1, but was unable to. At one point during our dinner she was pointing her finger in his face as well. I am worried for this child and really hope his parent can seek more info and this manager can be held accountable for the emotional and mental abuse. Absolutely insane atmosphere to walk into. The manager needs to be fired immediately.
