  We went to Tavolo for lunch today, and got their lunch special, a soup entree and desert. The food was awesome, we both loved what we got and were absolutely thrilled.. with that in mind service was subpar. Our server was very brash and quite rude, we asked for bread and pepper/salt at one point and she made it seem like a big deal. Which was fine, we didn’t mind that much. Then towards the end of our meal, when our deserts came out we got then to go, she came over with the wrong dessert - I told her that we had ordered a cheesecake and she insisted that we ordered a tiramisus.. and that she wrote it down. She ended up changing out the tiramisu and grabbing us a cheese cake.. We get home and opened up our two deserts - one of which was meant to be that cheesecake and the other the key lime dessert.. instead we received two cheesecakes. Overall food was awesome, both of our entrees were great, soup/salad were pretty good, but service just wasn’t good. I’d likely go back in the future, but our server just wasn’t the greatest

  Something has changed at Tavolo. One of our favorites for over 10 years, but the food has changed. Our waiter was very nice, the food was good, but the entrees were not the same. The restaurant for a Saturday night was dead which was surprising. My husband felt it was rushed, but I am sure the kitchen was slow.

  We love the $20 lunch deal and the $32 dinner deal!! Great food, great portions and great atmosphere!!

  Went about 7 months ago and thought it was good, went back and was disappointed with everything we had. Chris the server was amazing and attentive but the food was blah and uninspiring.
