I had the absolute worst experience at the sonic yesterday. First off I’ll start by saying this was my first time at a sonic. I was really hungry and excited to try it out. I got slightly nervous when I pulled up to the drive-through window because of the very Sloppy appearance of the workers. (But I tried not to judge) . When I received my food, all of my items that I got were unedible. I got a corn dog, a Smashburger and mozzarella sticks(. Plus an ice cream) The mozzarella sticks were so so bad I couldn’t even take a bite. They were so hard. Corndog was gross and so was the burger. I was so disappointed and left still so hungry. Cost me $27 and I threw it out all immediately.

We were not even sure if this place was open when we got here at around 3 on a Saturday. There were two crew members smoking in the back while we waited for someone to greet us at the drive through. We engaged them and they got someone to help us, since no one was greeting us. Order took a bit, but the food was good. Just very odd, felt like we were in a ghost town. Why is the dining room closed?

I went there because it was my grandson's 6th birthday. There was no indoor dining. We went to the drive up at that point. I sat in the car with a 4 and a 6 year old for 10 mins at the out door driveup. Waited.... waited. Hit the red button again....... NOTHING for 10 more mins. No one even took the time on the intercom to tell me they weren't serving out door drive up either. My 6 year old REALLY wanted to try this... so I went to the drive in. The person taking the order couldn't have cared less of my issue. I asked her "why didn't you just intercom me instead of make me wait all the time. She was an idiot and the guy at the register was obviously"high" and couldn't careless. Service was despicable!!!! Do Not go there!!!

Poor Smithfield Sonic. This location is poorly managed from top to bottom. Long waits, broken systems, terrible customer service, and complete disregard for customers are clearly the norm here. If this is the level of service being provided consistently, this location shouldn’t remain open until these issues are addressed. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else.

I pulled up to place my order which was never acknowledged. So then I pulled up to the window, which I saw three people standing there. I knocked on the window and they again did not acknowledge me so I went to go inside, which is locked due to no in dining. I then backed up to the window again to see the same three people, two of which were on their cell phone. Someone came to the window. I asked if they were open, and I explained to him my experience so far to which he said he was having a meeting with his staff. Against my judgment, I pulled around and placed my order. When I got back to the window again, I made my payment and So one of the same staff members on his phone texting and I never got a receipt so when I called customer service, I had to walk them through everything. I am awaiting an email from corporate so I can send them the screenshot from my bank statement as proof of purchase along with a recording of my experience that I am explaining. Making a complaint to the manager of the store would be pointless as this is the person who said he is the manager at the time. It’s pretty sad that at 5 PM. The only two cars that were in the parking lot belong to the staff members. And what is even worse is that you have an absentee owner.
