- TSTroy Sproul6 days ago1.0Absolute atrocious service. Wife and I sat at the bar at 5pm and the bartenders barely greeted us, took 10 minutes for water and after waiting an additional 15 minutes to - by the grace of god - order a drink, we got up and left before being “selected” for the rare opportunity. Other patrons had to wave their arms to get the bartenders attention. It’s unfortunate a basic service gap desperately forces well-mannered patrons to engage in primal acts just to get an iota of attention. First and last time! Good luck.

- BBBee1212May 6, 20262.0Lunch here was a letdown. The calamari was mediocre, but the main issue was the pasta. The “agnolotti” was actually ravioli, with barely any crab in the filling. It came in a broken cream sauce that was oily and poorly executed. I couldn't eat it. Service was underwhelming, and at $34 for the pasta, the quality simply doesn’t justify the price. Overall, a disappointing experience.

My dish was a whole haddock and it was over-seasoned, difficult to enjoy. My dinner partner ordered a lobster roll; it was underwhelming in size, in contrast with the large amount of fries, all very salty too. I used to enjoy coming to Hemenway’s but it doesn’t feel special anymore.

Wait staff was great.
