- DHDanilda HernandezAug 31, 20263.0⭐ Very Disappointed With the Customer Service I am extremely disappointed with the way I was treated at the Dunkin’ on Manton Street this morning. Around 5:00 a.m., I placed an order for coffee through the Dunkin’ app. I use the app regularly because it saves time. When I arrived, I went through the drive-thru to pick up my mobile order. As I approached the window, I could already hear an employee yelling at another employee. I minded my own business and completely ignored the situation. However, when she saw me, she stared at me through the window for what felt like an uncomfortable amount of time with an angry expression. She then questioned me about why I was at the window and why I had not stopped at the speaker to tell them I was picking up a mobile order. I have picked up mobile orders this way before and have never had an issue or been told that I was required to stop at the speaker first. If that is the store’s policy, I would have had absolutely no problem following it if she had simply explained it respectfully. Instead, her attitude toward me was rude and unnecessarily confrontational. She also repeatedly referred to me as “mamita,” which I found extremely disrespectful and inappropriate, especially considering the tone and manner in which she was speaking to me. There was absolutely no reason for a simple coffee pickup at 5:00 in the morning to turn into such an unpleasant interaction. Customers should not be spoken to disrespectfully simply because they were unaware of a particular pickup procedure. I have used the Dunkin’ app and picked up orders many times without a problem, which makes this experience even more disappointing. A simple, polite explanation would have been enough. Management should seriously address the way customers are being spoken to at this location. Professionalism and basic respect should be expected from anyone interacting with customers.
