  Awful service, disappointing food. We’ve loved this place for years, but after our most recent dinner experience we won’t be back. Plenty of other good spots in the area.

  Made reservations for my husband’s birthday. We’ve been here a couple of times, but this visit was terrible compared to before. They seated us at a table/booth that wasn’t clean—so sticky! As soon as we sat down, fruit flies started swarming around us. We didn’t pay much attention at first, but over time they got worse. It wasn’t just 2; it was more like 6-8 of them or more. We only ordered calamari as an appetizer and a bottle of wine. We didn't order entrees, it was unbearable to sit there with fruit flies constantly flying around. We asked for the check because we couldn’t take it anymore. As I was taking a last sip of my wine, I saw one inside my glass. The waitress apologized and made an excuse about our windows being open because it’s summer. That’s BS. Later that night, we went to another restaurant with their patio open, and there wasn’t a single fruit fly in sight. The waitress kept saying we took the chicken parmigiana off the check like she was doing us a favor, but honestly, we don’t want to eat there again. It’s gross!

  The folks in Chicago could learn a thing or two about deep dish pizza here! Spectacular service and a nice, relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended!

  Original Italian food in Providence...Excellent food and service...the bread....oh my God... delicious... highly recommended this restaurant! A++++++++++++++++
