  Wow! What a stunning atmosphere. We enjoyed a reserved space on The Lawn. While pricey, ($30 a guest without a food/drink credit), it was a wonderful experience. Our server, Patrick, was new but the perfect balance of attentive and kind without being intrusive. We all enjoyed our cocktails and our lunch snacks were delicious - Mediterranean premio and cheese board. We also did not feel rushed even though the experience was “timed.” We highly recommend!

  Beautiful location overlooking sailboats, the Claiborne Pell Newport Bridge, Rhode Island Sound into the Atlantic. Go earlier than your reservation, get a drink and sit in the Adirondack chairs overlooking it all. Have dinner on the terrace watching the sunset - if you time it right! Food was delicious and you are not rushed at all! Recommend this experience if you travel to Newport. Do the 10 mile drive on Ocean Drive, too!

  Are you kidding! Amazing dinner and amazing views. I heard some other guests near us complaining about slow service but we booked a sunset reservation and we're never pushed out of our seats while we sat and enjoyed the spectacular views. Wow!

  Wow you cannot beat the Sunday brunch here. Reservations are a must for a table or else you will be sitting at the bar. The dress is casual but still dressy casual. Before and after your meal you can enjoy sitting in the white Adirondack chairs with the amazing view. Sunday brunch menu has a few special items on it including the Mediterranean trio, the absolute best appetizer IMHO. The lobster sandwich was great along with the burrata caprese sandwich. The steak and eggs special was also ordered and the burger with egg. All were delicious and our server Mia was absolutely wonderful and attentive to our needs.

  We had the most wonderful Sunday lunch at The Lawn at Castle Hill Inn, and I can’t say enough about what an incredible experience it was. The food was absolutely outstanding. We ordered the lobster roll, the Mediterranean trio, and the crab avocado toast, and every single dish was fresh, beautifully prepared, and delicious. The setting is breathtaking, but the food more than lives up to the view. What truly made our visit unforgettable, though, was the extraordinary kindness of the staff, especially Jill, the manager, and our wonderful server, Dwayne. As we were walking to our table, my friend’s shoe completely broke, making it nearly impossible for her to walk. We mentioned it to Dwayne, who immediately brought Jill over. From that moment on, Jill went above and beyond in a way I’ve honestly never experienced at any restaurant. She came over with super glue and did everything she could to repair the shoe. She even asked my friend what size shoe she wore because she had an extra pair of shoes in her car that she was willing to lend her! While we waited for the glue to dry, another friend suggested ordering a replacement pair through DoorDash. Jill immediately jumped in to help us navigate the app and continued checking in on the delivery so she could meet the DoorDash driver when they arrived and personally bring my friend her new shoes. As if that wasn’t enough, we had another wardrobe mishap later during our meal, and once again Jill stepped in to help without hesitation. At no point did Jill make us feel embarrassed, inconvenient, or like we were being a nuisance. She treated us with such genuine warmth, compassion, and grace. She was truly an angel, a true girls’ girl who saw someone in need and simply wanted to help. Dwayne was equally fantastic throughout the entire experience, attentive, kind, and quick to jump into action the moment we needed help. Together, he and Jill turned what could have been a stressful afternoon into one we’ll always remember for all the right reasons. Exceptional food is something you hope for when dining out. Extraordinary people are something you never forget. Castle Hill Inn gave us both, and because of Jill and Dwayne, this wasn’t just a meal, it was one of the most memorable dining experiences we’ve ever had. Thank you for your incredible hospitality. We’ll absolutely be back, and we’ll be recommending Castle Hill Inn to everyone we know.
