  We were able to close shop early today and had enough time to stop by for appetizers, tacos & margs! The women behind the bar were super attentive and sweet. My first time here and happy to say I’ll definitely be back.

  We are longtime fans of this restaurant group, they've built something really special across Rhode Island, and we root for every new concept they open. But La Vecina needs to go back to the drawing board on its identity. Dishes lacked the depth and boldness you'd hope for, and the only real flavor we encountered came from the hot sauces, which, to their credit, were genuinely authentic and the highlight of the meal. But salsa shouldn't be doing all the heavy lifting. The margaritas arrived in highball glasses, which is wrong. A proper margarita deserves a proper vessel. Service also had some gaps. We had to ask multiple times for water refills. We'll absolutely continue to support this group's other restaurants, which we love.
