I get that’s it’s a difficult time to hire but something needs to change. Overall, I like this store but find it super frustrating when my order that was place at 9:30am gets delayed past 5 pm.

Shaws is owned by Albertsons and all of the employees here are part of a union. In my whole life I have never been treated so poorly than I have in this store. There is a male employee who I’ve been told is deaf and on medications for his issues. This man has hit me with a large broom, a shopping cart and lastly, he shouldered me as I was trying to walk in. The last time he hit me I called corporate in California. After calling two more times I finally was told that I would be contacted by the store and it would be resolved. Once I explained to the lady here locally what happened, I got a gift card for 25.00. Wow. Here’s what I know- if this guy lays one finger on me I am calling the cops immediately. What a shame that this store will do more to protect him than they will take care of their customers. Any and every time that I go there I now video him. I am not going to be bullied by him, his union or this company. They should all be ashamed of themselves for allowing this behavior. 8/24/26 update and response to “owner”… You all had your chance to help me. You chose not to. Why would I try chasing you down again? Get rid of the rot in your stores. That will be a start.

The "manager" Leslie was in line waiting to cash out. She said I had yo wait until she was done cashing out, just for a 2 second scan. YOU ARE ON THE CLOCK I HAVE TO WAIT FOR YOU DOING PERSONAL SHOPPING?????? never heard of such a thing.
