Food was fantastic. Service was excellent. Good prices.Noticed the cigar bar next door but not a problem at all. The only problem will be that once word gets around , you won't be able to get in.

Must try!! This restaurant is absolutely amazing. From the food to the service, we were left speechless and already can’t wait for our next visit. Bella was our server, and she was FANTASTIC! She was so friendly, attentive, and incredibly helpful with our menu selections. This is officially our new date night spot, and we can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu!

Everything about our experience was excellent! We started with the salmon orzo and the veal parmesan, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. We paired our meal with a bottle of La Crema Pinot Noir, which was the perfect complement. For dessert, we had a cappuccino, the triple chocolate cake, and a salted caramel martini. Everything was outstanding and made for the perfect ending to our dinner. A special thank you to our server, Gio, for his excellent service. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Great food, great drinks, and great service—we’ll definitely be back!

My wife and I visited Black Dog Tavern a couple of days ago, and we had an amazing experience. The restaurant was extremely busy, so we expected a bit of a wait, but it was absolutely worth it. The menu has a huge variety of options, so there’s something for everyone. Our server, Gio, was fantastic from start to finish. He took the time to explain the menu, made excellent recommendations, and checked in throughout our meal to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. Gio recommended the bao buns and the dynamite shrimp as appetizers, and we’re so glad we listened—they were easily some of the best appetizers we’ve ever had. For my entrée, I ordered the Chicken Marsala, and I can honestly say it was the best Chicken Marsala I’ve ever had. The portions were generous, and everything was cooked perfectly. I also had the red sangria, which was delicious and paired perfectly with the meal. My wife ordered the Chicken Milanese along with the Summer Night’s Dream cocktail, another recommendation from Gio, and she absolutely loved both. Everything we ordered exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere was warm, comfortable, and welcoming, making the entire dining experience even better. Even though the restaurant was packed, the staff never made us feel rushed and made sure we were well taken care of the entire time. My wife and I both left impressed, and we’ll definitely be coming back.

We were so excited for this place to open up. We have been waiting for months in anticipation as we frequently attended th. restaurant was that was in their space prior to Black Dog Tavern opening. We had a 6 o’clock reservation for my son‘s birthday and we were seated right away. The staff seemed friendly and brought us right to our table. After we sat down, it was as if we cease to exist. After 15 minutes of sitting at the table, we finally asked our server if he could bring some water. He brought warm tapwater with no ice and filled half of our cups, coming back a few minutes later to fill the other half of our cups with more warm tapwater. He took a drink order that took 15 minutes to get back to us. The restaurant was not that busy. Every other table around us was being served at a normal restaurant pace it seemed. We have been seated now for about a half an hour before he took our dinner order, but only after I told him we needed to put it in, he didn’t ask. We put in the entrées and appetizers and asked that they bring everything out as soon as it comes out, so as not to drag the entrées in favor of the appetizers because clearly things were a bit slow for service. Then we waited. And waited. And waited. Other customers started asking us why we hadn’t been served yet. They seemed embarrassed for us as they had arrived after us and were already eating while we were waiting for a second glass of warm tap water. Second drink order never delivered, water is never refilled, and no sign of food anywhere. After sitting there for an hour and 20 minutes I finally got up to go find a server, as ours was missing in action. Eight tables around us had been served food, and we were totally forgotten. When I alerted this server to our situation, she said she would go into the back of the kitchen and look into it. She was very pleasant. I didn’t see her again for another 10 minutes. I got up after another 10 minutes to go locate this new server as well as our Original server (he had emerged from where he had gone.) Both assured me that the food would be out any minute, and that there was a problem in the kitchen and that’s what had taken so long. I indicated to them that a problem in the kitchen is something that happens. I totally get it. I worked in restaurants for close to a decade, but if there is a problem in the kitchen, you don’t ignore the customers you let them know that something has happened and make sure that every other part of their experience is taken care of. I then said we were probably not interested in eating the food anymore and they asked me to let them know if that was the case as they would cancel the order. This led me to question their honesty, because if the food was about to be put out any minute, why would you cancel the order? The food is cooked at that point or it is not. It’s really unfortunate that we had this experience because we probably would’ve been a weekly regular customer but there’s no way I could ever walk into this restaurant again. I can’t rate the food other than the bread and butter which was “meh”. The atmosphere was bland and boring and the service was possibly the worst service I’ve ever experienced in my entire life. (I have gone to Waffle House at 2 AM in the Midwest)
