First time customer. Went at 5pm on a Sunday. The restaurant itself was filthy. The floors were sticky all over. There was garbage on the floor and the tables were dirty. A lot of workers but all were in the kitchen. We started ordering, a bowl and wrap...a lot of topping containers were empty, chicken container was empty. Had to wait to b filled. Bowl was average. I can make better at home. Wouldn't go back

Shoutout to Julian and Gianna at the Cranston CAVA! These two were absolutely crushing it on the service line today. Slinging bowls and pita wraps like it’s nobody’s business while keeping the line moving fast and efficiently. What stood out even more than their hustle was their attitude. Both had genuine smiles, positive energy, and made the whole experience enjoyable. I’m a regular at CAVA, and this Cranston location just raised the bar with these two. Great service can turn a meal into an experience, and that’s exactly what happened today. The food was on point as always, fresh, delicious, and exactly what keeps me coming back. But Julian and Gianna’s customer service is what made today’s visit memorable. Praise God for good people doing great work with a great attitude. Grateful I crossed paths with these two today. Keep up the awesome work! 🙌🥙🔥

CAVA is usually one of my favorite places to eat, and I’ve consistently had great experiences at other locations. Unfortunately, at this location it was very different. The employee serving us appeared uninterested in providing good customer service from the start. While we were ordering, he repeatedly ignored us. Later, when we asked for a cup for water, he cleaned the corner of a food containers and then, without changing gloves, proceeded to handle our drink request. Throughout the ordering process, his demeanor felt unwelcoming, and we were repeatedly given looks that made us feel uncomfortable. We also asked for a complimentary pita, but he walked away to chat with his coworkers and later told us he had forgotten about it. What made this especially disappointing is that we drove 30 minutes looking forward to eating at CAVA. The food was still great, but the service completely changed the experience and took away from what is usually a very enjoyable visit. I hope this feedback helps, as I’ve always associated CAVA with excellent food and customer service, and this experience was not reflective of the standard I’ve come to expect.

Absolutely awful first experience. This restaurant was highly recommended by a friend. Our family of three decided to check it out for ourselves. 1. The staff was not welcoming or helpful and sort of rude. Our 11 year old daughter mistook the pita bread for tortillas and asked for a quesadilla. The kid behind the counter said “There’s a Chipotle up the street” which I thought was rude and embarrassed her to the point where she got out of line and didn’t want to order anything at all (she didn’t end up eating) It’s important at any business to welcome guests, be courteous and try to assist customers in a reasonable manner. It was obvious we had never been there before and there were no customers waiting in line at the time we started trying to order. This would have been the perfect opportunity to spend a minute helping us out. 2. Every table was dirty, the trash was overflowing out of every receptacle despite there being an army of people working (there were more people working than there were customers in the restaurant), with forks, napkins, food on the floor. 3. The only table that was clean was a booth that one employee decided to occupy during their break so that our family didn’t have a table we could all sit at together. 4. My food was cold and kind of terrible. It tasted like it had been sitting there all day (like when you have something off in your fridge and you eat leftovers the next day after they absorb whatever it is). The portions were ridiculously small (I will never complain about Chipotle again). I was charged for a “bowl” that had almost nothing in it. Literally 1/5 of the bowl had some rice and a handful of mixed vegetables. I have a gluten allergy and stated so when trying to order with the first person who walked away when we were ordering and then we weren’t sure who was supposed to be taking our order. There should be some training on allergens before someone gets sick from cross contamination or people simply not being careful. In short, we are a busy (we live in Garden City) local family of three who find ourselves eating at restaurants almost daily (sometimes more than once a day). While we understand that new restaurants have a learning curve. Every metric you could measure a restaurant by was terrible which is a total shame. We really wanted to like this place and always try to support new local businesses whenever possible. Hopefully, things will change over the course of time.

Had such a great experience here thanks to Gianna and felt like it deserved a review. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and consistent every time I come in. I love the assembly-line style because it’s quick, but unlike a lot of fast-casual places, the quality here never feels rushed. Everything from the proteins to the toppings and sauces tastes fresh and well prepared. What really makes this location stand out though is the manager, Gianna. You can immediately tell how much she cares about the customers and the team. Even when the restaurant is busy and she’s clearly juggling multiple tasks, she still makes an effort to check in with each and every guest or team member, keep things moving smoothly, and make people feel welcomed. That kind of attention and work ethic is rare to see nowadays. She handles the rush professionally, keeps a positive attitude, and creates an atmosphere where the staff seems motivated and organized instead of stressed out. The restaurant was also extremely clean and well maintained, which says a lot during peak hours. It’s refreshing to see management that genuinely goes above and beyond instead of just standing in the background. Gianna is doing an amazing job, and she definitely keeps me coming back.
