  Came in for late night food and Cassidy our server/waitress was WONDERFUL, gave us great recommendations, told us much about the menu and overall made our experience here so enjoyable. Great vibes at the bar too :)

  The owner was very rude, I’m a first time customer and got fish dinner for 28.00 and it came with one small piece and 2 sides, he told me he can’t help me and that no one else complains…. The website show this but you only get one. He was nasty . This is being advertised but we didn’t get this at all…. Yall please don’t go get fish it’s a horrible Portion, customer service is bad.

  The food was okay, for how much it cost I was expecting better quality, along with that I was instantly sick after eating. I was most excited about the collard greens, however they were quite bitter and not as flavorful as the typical soul food cooking you’d expect.

  While the food is cooked, well, there's no taste, there's no seasoning.It is bland. It was suggested to get the crab cake because it was like Baltimore. However, being from Baltimore and you have no old bay seasoning or moist inside. I definitely would not compare. The lamb chops were a little overdone, but tasty. The mac and cheese needs more cheese and seasoning. I mean, you didn't even put salt and pepper in there. The candied yams, I needed some maple syrup, marshmallows, nutmeg, etc. So like I said, learn to season your food and don't compare yourself to baltimore.

  This place is amazing!! Food is always on point, always new and creative specials, atmosphere and ambiance is amazing (if youre an 80s or 90s baby, the R&B in the background is the perfect trip down memory lane!!). Our large group was lucky enough to have CJ as our server tonight. He was attentive, personable, knowledgeable about the menu and made my mother-in-law's bday dinner amazing. The own even came and took a picture with her!! The service was so good it almost equaled the food. This is my favorite spot in York. If you like great food and great service, MIK is where you need to be!!!
