I went there with my family for Father’s Day. My husband picked it and we were all excited to go. Brunch menu was limited and when I got the grits and told the server they were too spicy she didn’t offer to get me something else etc. The appetizers were great but service wasn’t and I don’t think we will be back especially after our bill was over $100 and I couldn’t eat my meal.

We just had Father’s Day dinner with my family. My wife ordered a soup with her meal, and after just one spoonful, she found it unpleasant and couldn’t eat it. The waiter was very nice, polite, and helpful throughout our visit. Unfortunately, the person in the kitchen—whether it was the supervisor or owner—did not demonstrate good customer service. We weren’t asking for a refund; we simply wanted to substitute the soup for corn, which was likely a less expensive side. Our request was denied without any attempt to accommodate us. We weren’t the only table with an issue regarding the food, although I did notice the table next to us was also speaking with the waiter about a concern. The food may not always be perfect, but customer service and how issues are handled can make a big difference. Management should consider having a discussion about customer relations and finding reasonable ways to address customer concerns

Great spot for a walk on the southern side of food. Quaint little place with a unique menu, good drinks and lively selection of seafood options. I had the drunken crab cake, a flight of flavored lemon drops and apple cinnamon egg rolls for a delectable treat on Mother’s Day. Was worth the drive to York Pa for something outside of the norm.

Very disappointed. I had heard so many good things about this restaurant and was excited to give it a try, but the food did not meet my expectations. The mac and cheese was the worst I've ever tasted. The po' boy sandwich was poorly assembled and had very little sauce. The shrimp was hard, dry, and overcooked, and there were only four pieces of shrimp on the entire sandwich. Overall, the meal was disappointing, and unfortunately I won't be ordering again!

I came up to Harrisburg from Pittsburgh on a business trip. I decided to meet up with a childhood friend who lives in the area. She named two restaurants. I chose this one. The waitress was pleasant and attentive. We ordered our food. We liked our food UNTIL my friend noticed that there was a foreign object on her plate. We examine the object and realized that it was a piece of glass. We got the waitresses attention, and she took the plate back to the kitchen. The chef came out of the kitchen and said “there is nothing like that in the kitchen” but she will that she would comp my friend’s meal. We were taken aback by her statement! It’s a piece of glass. It was cooked in the food some how. It was yellow like the rice. Thank God my friend didn’t bite into it. I felt like she was insinuating that my friend put something in her food to get a free meal which is outrageous and disrespectful. All she had to say was I’m sorry that this happened are you OK and can I get you something else. For her say that there’s nothing like that in the kitchen made it seem like my friend did something to her food. And all kitchens have glass. We were drinking from glasses! We are working professionals having lunch and catching up after not seeing eachother in person in decades. I was so upset I lost my appetite and I really liked my food. I still tipped the waitress but only 15% bc of the chef’s comment.
