Panera Bread is what it is supposed to be... same as all the others spots of there's ... friendly people ... good food ... nothing to complain about ... nothing to rave about

Last time I'm coming here. Always out of half their ingredients, woefully understaffed, the place is filthy all the way around, AND it's expensive! Oh, did I mention the 30 minute wait for your food? They need to shutter this location!

I had a horrible experience at this location. Bought 18 dollars worth of food, waited 30 minutes just to be told they were out of what i ordered. Then while trying to refund me, found out they did actually have what I ordered and I said I still wanted my food in that case! Then i waited another 15/20 minutes still absolutely nothing or any updates so I decided to walk out. Lost 18 dollars and never got any food.

I ordered a large strawberry basil Fresca with my meal only to have gotten strawberry lemonade. When I asked about the basil I was told you were out which is fine however don’t just give me what you feel I would want! He never gave me an option if I wanted something else or refunded me my $. I specifically ordered what I wanted & was forced to take it! That’s not okay especially when I’m paying for it and these drinks are not cheap!! Any other Panera would have done better

Curb Your Enthusiasm would have had a field day here. I made the mistake of going in to get a drink. It was 6:30PM so not close to closing. Nobody was at the register. I stand there for 5 minutes. I see 2 people making food, pretty sure one guy noticed me, but he put his head back down. Eventually I head over there and ask if anyone other than you two are working. He cracked a joke inferring that people should be working but nobody is there. He called out a name and a woman came out of the bread oven. I didn't curse but I was animated at her. As I'm walking back to the register for her to take my order, the guy said I could be nicer about it. She takes my order and I didn't get into it why nobody was watching for customers. (At the time if I knew she was a manger, I would have asked.) Going to get my drink I pass the guy making food and I have a few more words with him. He basically said that was the manager and I explain the manager gets paid to take it on the chin. That's their job. He mumbled some more looking away from me but wouldn't turn around and say his peace clearly. Magically as I am walking out passing the register two different employees are there now. I ask where'd you come from. The one girl tells me she's taking training classes. That's not the first time a Panera employee was "training" while working on the job. Last month a guy was standing at the register when I came in. He was so focused on his I thought he was on social media. After I get his attention, he looked up and said..sorry...I was training. I know private equity bought this company, but expecting employees to do their training while on the job serving customers is screwy. Back to this girl...she just keeps on yapping..hope you have a better day...turning the derelict of duty somehow on me. As I'm walking away she just keeps going...commenting about my hands moving around. When I go back to her to engage a third time because she's still talking nonsense she blurts out something about being 17. Like what does that even mean? Try to pull being the minor card because you want to jaw with a customer and tuck tail in a debate about customer service. To her and the prep cook...how about don't make excuses and do your job. And for only being 6:30PM, they looked to be out of most counter items. Very few pastries.
