Bravo makes Olive Garden look like fine dining. This is Italian food for people with absolutely no palate for Italian cuisine.
The breadsticks were laughable — dry, flavorless, and stale-tasting. The Chicken Woozie pasta was drowned in that harsh, old-school garlic flavor where it hits you like raw onion instead of actual seasoning or balance. The lasagna was genuinely awful. I’m not exaggerating when I say I nearly gagged trying to eat a few bites.
Service was average; nothing terrible, but nothing memorable either.
And honestly, I’m not trying to be overly critical here. The food was objectively bad. I ate at the North Hills location years ago and don’t remember it being anywhere near this terrible.
Won’t be back. Like a lot of places in Homestead, it feels mediocre, dated, and lacking.

We went to celebrate Mother’s Day. Completely understand it’s a busy time however we didn’t have the best experience. We had a reservation at 5:45 and we’re seated promptly. However, we were not given our meals until 7:45. Calamari was sold out. Our wedding soup was cold for the entire table. We had to ask repeatedly for refills. The Bathroom was horrible. The sink is falling off the counter. The toilet toilets do not flush. Our food was OK But only warm. Ordered specialty drinks, and they were not good at all. Bartender probably not familiar how To prepare. Overall, it was extremely disappointing for our Mother’s Day celebration. I think the staff tried, but either was short or just not able to meet the demand. Not the typical bravo experience I would’ve hoped for!

Our family of 10 made reservations for 11 am at BRAVO! Italian Kitchen on Mother's Day to celebrate the occasion as well as a graduation with family traveling into town. Unfortunately, what should have been a joyful meal turned into one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences we've ever had.
After waiting nearly 2.5 hours without receiving our meals while watching surrounding tables be seated, served, and attended to, it became difficult not to question whether we were being treated differently.
Our server rarely communicated with us directly, despite us overhearing explanations and updates being given to nearby tables about delays and kitchen backups. We were only served drinks and appetizers before spending hours waiting with no real updates, urgency, or effort to resolve the situation.
As the wait stretched close to three hours, it became increasingly uncomfortable sitting there watching surrounding tables be seated, served, and checked on while our table remained ignored. Even staff members and nearby guests appeared aware something was wrong, yet no one stepped in to properly address the situation or communicate with us in a meaningful way.
When we finally expressed concern about the excessive wait, our server was dismissive and unwilling to get management involved. We eventually had to approach a woman manager ourselves, but even then the situation was not properly addressed. On our way out she stopped us to say our food was almost done and suggested we have it boxed to go. At that point, after wasting almost three hours of our day and being on a schedule to travel home, we were forced to leave around 1:30 pm without ever receiving our meals.
What makes this even more upsetting is that this was meant to be a special family gathering that included mothers, veterans, college graduates, and even a child we had to explain the situation to. Instead of ending our weekend together with a celebratory meal, we left feeling ignored, unwelcome, and deeply disappointed.
We would have preferred being told outright that they did not intend to serve us.
We tried to make the best of it while waiting by playing phone games and staying patient, but no group should be made to feel invisible in a restaurant they made reservations for.
We will never return.

I made a reservation for 10 on Mother’s Day, Sunday 3/10 at 11am. We showed up 10 minutes early and were sat promptly by a lovely hostess. After being seated it was clear our server did not care much about waiting on us. After getting our drinks, we waited over 2 hours for food. Our cups were refilled once. Our server would check on other tables and communicate to them that their food was on the way, but he would not come and check on our table until we flagged him down. Our large group traveled from out of town for a university graduation the day before, and people needed to hit the road for a 7+ hour trip so we asked for a manager to discuss cancelling our order, we had to go. Our server was very dismissive and rude. He just kept saying he couldn’t do anything about our food taking long, but he served tables around us that were seated up to an hour after us and checked on them constantly. He said he would go get a manager and didn’t come back, so we had to flag down a shift leader who was checking on the table next to us. They offered to box our food up for us to take it with us. That was not an option for people traveling over 7 hours back to Kentucky and Nashville. After all of that, we still did not speak to a manager, we just left. Not a good way to spend Mother’s Day or a Sunday morning or any day, and the employees didn’t seem to care much other than the shift leader. Definitely will not be coming back. Such a waste of time.

Unfortunately my daughter’s graduation dinner was absolutely ruined by our experience here. While I don’t blame the waitress totally because she was clearly overwhelmed and flustered, but I blame the training and the management and time management. We arrived for a 6pm reservation that we had made for weeks. We were seated and gave our drink orders effectively. The bar was out of most of the wines requested and the ingredients for a basic old fashioned. So, we were fine and ordered what they had, no issue there. We waited and waited, the drinks and kids juice finally came. We placed appetizer orders and our main course order, we waited and waited. Maybe 30 mins later no check in we asked for bread and were told by the waitress “we only have a little bit of bread.” We waited for the little bit, it never came. My sister went up to ask the manager around seven at this point and the manager did bring some and said she would take two apps off. The waitress comes over to tell my sister they didn’t have the appetizer she wanted an hour in atp. So we order something different. After a few minutes the kids main courses (pizzas) come it’s close to 7:30. We still had no refills or asked about any. Time goes by and the appetizers finally come. Those of us who didn’t order any still haven’t eaten. Around 8 o’clock our food finally comes. Cold, the portion sizes showed that the kitchen was running out of air and food they were clearly overwhelmed. My order was not only wrong but the noodles weren’t cooked at all. Same with my sister, daughter and my brother in law. They were gummy and sticking together. I had to have another family member try it to make sure that I was correct. So me and my sister send it back. The piece of salmon that I ordered to go on my pasta, I kept thinking “oh this looks good”. There was no seasoning not even salt. It was so over cooked I could just cut it like a piece of cake. Needless to say it was inedible. When the checks finally came they were completely wrong. Still having appetizers that we never got and the two that were to be comped on them. The waitress was super apologetic and did her best to fix it even though the manager still hadn’t sent her help. She clearly was overwhelmed. So my sister goes to speak with the manager to be told “I already comped two meals I can’t take anything else off”! You didn’t comp anything, mam. The food was returned and never consumed. Not including the fact that it took 2 hours to come. Literally 2 hours. I felt bad for our waitress and for my daughter. Both were embarrassed and upset. Our waitress tried, but the experience was horrific to say the least. I implore you to hire right, schedule accordingly and have support individuals to run for wait staff with large parties. Especially when the reservations are in the system weeks ahead. Having the proper staff doing the proper work helps. Managers can run food and help the kitchen as well. Poor planning and time management ruined my daughters day and left me personally not having dinner at all last night. Again kudos to the waitress for trying her best to stay afloat. After a small discussion with the manager the bills were fixed accurately and we left. It’s graduation weekend across the city of Pittsburgh. This is an every year occurrence, please plan so that another family doesn’t experience what we did. God Bless
