Over 2/3rds unblended straight vanilla ice cream in my blizzards, and I PAID MORE MONEY for extra ingredients in 2 of the 3 blizzards I purchased. Extremely disappointed.

- DFDaniel ForemanJul 14, 20261.0Our neighborhood swim team came to this Dairy Queen for an after swim meet treat. It was still early and the sun was still up. The line was long and there were maybe 50 kids. But that’s part of the deal of being a neighborhood ice cream store in the summer heat. We all waited patiently and respectfully and were waiting in line. And the team was eating their ice cream and leaving as they finished. The staff decided to arbitrarily state that only half the team would get served and the rest would have to get in the back of the drive thru and eat in their cars. This was literally children in swim uniforms with parents in tshirts supporting the local swim team were turned away from supporting a local business. I’ve never seen a business decide to arbitrarily cut off a line of customers who are happy to wait and pay for their product and be a respectful business and support them. We will never be returning to this location and neither will our swim team despite the fact that we all live in this neighborhood and support local businesses. I’ve never seen a business treat their customers this way and arbitrarily decide not to serve customers who are patiently waiting in line in broad daylight because they are “busy”… A ice cream business that doesn’t support their local youth sports teams in their uniforms on the hottest days of the year doesn’t deserve to be a business. I will gladly talk to the franchise owner and tell them this to their face because I care about this community and seeing it improve.
