If you’re anywhere near Delco and haven’t been to Tastes of the Caribbean, you’re missing out on one of the area’s best-kept culinary secrets.
I ordered the large jerk chicken with mac & cheese and rice & beans, and from the very first bite I knew I’d found a new favorite. The jerk chicken was cooked to perfection—smoky, rich, incredibly tender, and literally falling off the bone. The seasoning was bold without overpowering the flavor of the chicken. Every bite had that authentic, slow-cooked Caribbean taste that keeps you going back for “just one more bite.”
The mac & cheese was creamy and comforting, and the rice & beans were the perfect complement to the meal.
What really made the experience memorable, though, was the hospitality. As a first-time customer, I was offered a sample of their smoked chicken—and wow… absolutely phenomenal. That kind of genuine welcome is something you don’t forget.
Amazing food. Outstanding service. Authentic Caribbean flavors.
I’m officially shining the culinary spotlight on this place because they deserve it. Whether you’re from Delco or just passing through, put Tastes of the Caribbean on your list. You’ll leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit.
Highly recommended. Five stars all day. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I’ve only had their jerk. 10/10 I went to the Bahamas last year and had authentic jerk and never looked back on our Americanized Jerk chicken. They do theirs on the grill just like the way I had it out there. New favorite spot 😩

Absolutely terrible service. Run your business like you want people to come back. Just doing whatever, if you want to waste people’s time leave a signage at the door so we can know

That meal was an absolute abomination from start to finish, and the health department genuinely needs to study whatever is going on in that kitchen. The yam they served was prehistoric, completely dried out, tough, and tasted like it had been sitting uncovered in the back of a walk-in freezer since last year. To make matters even more insulting, they did not even have the decency to include a proper Jamaican beverage like a D&G soda or a tropical juice. Instead, they randomly threw in a Spanish drink like I am Spanish or something, which makes absolutely no sense and just proves they are completely careless with their orders. Jamaican cuisine is supposed to be legendary, full of rich seasoning, and prepared with immense pride, but this place is a straight-up embarrassment. It is a complete disgrace to the entire culture and everything Jamaican food is actually supposed to represent: I am so disgusted as a born Jamaican
