Really pleased to have some truly delicious Indian food in Stroudsburg! Our dishes were super flavorful with lots of vegetarian options available. It's more of a take out place than a sit down place, but we did eat there and it was spacious and easy with kids. Kids loved the mango lassi that is part of the buffet.
Amazing place for authentic taste of Indian food. We tried the mouth relishing Pav bhaji,South Indian dosa tasty sambar ,buffet was very good with Mango Lassi. Nick the manager was truly great,he was very nice, great hospitality and gave good suggestions. He also took care we get hot food and made sure of the taste and cleanliness. Also at the end met Salman bhai who offered good service. Overall experience very nice ,service very good,Nick was awesome and great, food was tasty and good. Will definitely visit in near future.Recommendable .

We’ve been going to NYC Grill next door for years so naturally when this spot opened we had to give them a try. Have been several times and love it every time! They have the best staff, so friendly and always willing to give recommendations. The food is always so good and fresh. We haven’t tried the buffet yet, but it always has great selections and our friend is a big fan of it, he recommends it to us all the time. They even have those viral ice cream fruits from TikTok a few years ago, I didn’t include a picture because it was so good I ate it right away! 10/10

We had one of the worst dining experiences here, despite being frequent travelers who have eaten at many Indian restaurants.
We specifically came all the way to this restaurant because their menu listed South Indian dishes, especially dosa, which my young son was looking forward to. When we arrived around 8:30 PM, we were told that the dosa batter was "over." That was extremely disappointing, especially since dosa is one of the items advertised on the menu. If an item is unavailable that early in the evening, customers should be informed in advance or the menu should reflect it.
To make matters worse, the manager was not accommodating at all and showed no concern that we had traveled a long distance specifically for this meal. There was no attempt to offer an alternative or make the experience better.
The ambience was equally disappointing. The restaurant was extremely hot and suffocating, with no air conditioning, making it very uncomfortable to sit and eat.
Overall, between the poor customer service, unavailable menu items, and uncomfortable dining environment, this was a very disappointing experience. Unfortunately, we would not recommend this restaurant or return.
My son had just graduated from Cornell University and my family was very hungry on our way home to New York City. NYC Indian Grill was the perfect place to curb our appetite. The dishes were very flavorful. More flavorful, in fact, than most other Indian restaurants that I have visited before. There was a buffet option, but we opted to order dishes from the menu since I didn't want to overeat and unnecessarily pay a little more for the buffet. The dishes that I sampled were very spicy, and I like it spicy. For those who have weak stomachs who can't handle spice, I don't suggest this place. The manager was very friendly and helpful. I noticed that most of the customers in this place were southeast Asian, which is an indication that they may know where the best Indian food is at. One negative that I didn't like is that all the utensils were disposable. This goes against my environmental sensibilities and I hope that the owner considers implementing real utensils, at least for those who choose to dine at the restaurant. Throwing plastic knifes, forks and spoons in the garbage every time someone dines there is so wasteful, especially with our worldwide plastic waste issue.
