We’re traveling from Pennsylvania to New Jersey. We saw the big board on the I 80 decided to go there that was a big mistake. We Went to the buffet it was overpriced for $25 not worth it was definitely not worth, food was very spicy and lots of oil floating on top. The dishes did not have any name on them and paper plates were used that I paid $25 I feel the buffet price should be $9.99. At the end we went to get the tea. Styrofoam glass was used, and there was no tea.
We will not be coming back.

We were visiting the Poconos and searched for a halal restaurant for lunch — so glad we found NYC Indian Grill! Their butter chicken and garlic naan were absolutely delicious. It’s rare to find quality halal options in the area, so this place was a real gem. The food was flavorful and satisfying — definitely hit the spot! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great halal meal nearby.

NYC Indian Grill is a solid spot if you’re craving authentic Indian flavors without going over budget. The restaurant has a casual, welcoming vibe, and the staff is generally friendly and attentive, especially during less busy hours. The buffet is one of their main highlights. There’s a good variety of dishes like butter chicken, biryani, dal, and vegetarian options. Some items really stand out with rich flavor, while others can be a bit inconsistent depending on the time of day—freshness is best during peak hours.
