  We shop here for their awesome sales on hamburger and chicken. I also love their American cheese. It tastes better than other stores. Their produce is also the best in the area. I am disappointed that they removed the salad bar. I used to love making a salad there for lunch. The prepackaged ones just aren’t the same. Bring that back and I’ll give 5 stars, lol. I also would like to see the store brand diet soda expand flavors. I used to love the diet cream and diet black cherry and they just disappeared.

  Y'all are supposed to be open till 10 but i try to come in at 9:50 to try and get 2 bottles of soda and the doors are already locked and the employee standing by the doors has their back turned and ignored me when I tried getting their attention.

  i cannot give this giant enough stars, SPECIFICALLY the giant direct team! literally everyone is so friendly, helpful, and kind - but most of all, JACKIE. jackie is the absolute best. not only is she kind and patient, but she is so smart and thoughtful. for example, when picking out meats, she makes sure it doesn’t expire the next day. she runs that place like a well oiled machine. i am in and out in under 5 minutes. not sure how much recognition she is getting but she is a STAR! we love her entire team. they all know my kids’ names and jackie has gotten them gifts before. even though Giant is a big named store, Jackie and her team are bringing that local family feeling.

  So let me start by saying I have shopped at this location for a couple of years now. Although I have had some hiccups along the way overall they always have a great selection of items and I have only encountered friendly and polite staff. Staff is always available if I have a question or need help. Between Giant Direct and in store, I shop here at least once a week. Only store I get my groceries from. So now you are wondering why must I give a 1 star review. Well..... Yesterday while I was doing some in store shopping I wanted my usual heirloom tomato but I wanted to see how much it weighed being as though they're so expensive $5.99 a lb. I weighed it on the produce scale and it was a little under a pound which came out to $5.23. I continued shopping not printing out the slip because I just usually let the cashier handle that part. I checked out and proceeded to my car as usual. After placing my groceries in the car I sat for a little and while doing so I glanced at my receipt and I noticed the heirloom tomato was rung in under the right description but the price is now $8.88. Huh? I decided to go back in and the gentleman that helped me I know is the store manager. No matter what time I am here, whether opening or closing hours he is here. I explained why I am returning my product and his response was "oh that's a big difference, would you like it back to your card?" As a store manager his response should have been let me figure out why or let me go back there so I can check. It wasn't his response which was very concerning and led me to believe he knew his registers are set up that way. All this time I trusted that my local grocery store was honest and all these years I have shopped this store just to be scammed. So disappointed.
