Was in line to order and the person in front of me finished off the white rice. The woman working the line informed me she would be right with me, I told her to take her time cause I would wait for the white rice anyway. She asked a coworker behind her how much longer the rice would be, and he was so incredibly rude in his response, stated he told her 20 minutes ago how long it would be, and continued to berate her. My friend and I walked out. I don’t need to spend my money somewhere that fosters a negative work environment.

Worst chipotle experience I’ve ever had. Don’t go here when classes are not in session. Worker gave the smallest portions I’ve ever had, and when I asked for a little more he said no. I’ve never had that happen once. Chipotle ownership literally says to ask for a little more and they give it. Wasn’t even worth double as that would be an even bigger rip off.

I, Percival T. Biscuitworth, Esq., a close acquaintance and oft-traveling companion of the esteemed Demetrius Long Legs Freeman Jr., feel compelled to corroborate the accounts of that long-limbed gentleman regarding this most exceptional Chipotle near Penn State in State College. Having dined here in his distinguished company, I too partook of the Honey Chipotle Chicken, a preparation so admirably balanced betwixt sweetness and spice that it would not be out of place upon the tables of nobility. One cannot help but marvel at how such flavor is achieved with such consistency, a feat rarely witnessed in establishments of this nature. Yet, as my dear associate Demetrius has so eloquently observed, it is the service that truly separates this location from its lesser brethren scattered about State College. Where other Chipotles offer indifference and haste, this one delivers civility, attentiveness, and portions bestowed with a generosity that would earn nods of approval from even the most discerning patrons. I have seen with my own eyes the respectful manner in which guests are treated, and I daresay it rivals the finest hospitality one might encounter in far grander halls. Should you find yourself wandering the Penn State grounds with hunger in your belly and expectations in your heart, heed the wisdom of both myself and Demetrius Long Legs Freeman Jr., this is the Chipotle worthy of your patronage. Yours in refined appetite, Percival T. Biscuitworth, Esq.

I don’t even know where to start with how unbelievably frustrating this experience was. I ordered a simple quesadilla at 6:00 PM. Nothing complicated, nothing custom, just a basic order. I was told it would be ready by 6:20. Completely reasonable, right? That’s already a 20-minute wait for something that should take a fraction of that time, but fine—I was patient. I show up at 6:30 thinking maybe it’s just running slightly behind, and I’m told “it’ll be ready in 5–10 minutes.” Okay… not ideal, but still manageable. At that point I’ve already been waiting longer than promised, but I give them the benefit of the doubt. Then comes the moment where everything completely falls apart. I’m told they ran out of cheese. Cheese. For a quesadilla. That’s like running out of dough at a pizza place—it makes absolutely no sense. At that point I ask if I can just cancel because clearly this isn’t going smoothly. Instead of handling it professionally, the manager tells me she’ll personally make the quesadilla and it’ll take “10 minutes max.” So now I’m thinking, alright, at least someone is taking responsibility and fixing it. Except that didn’t happen at all. 20 minutes go by. Not 10. Not even close. And then I literally see the manager—who told me she’d handle it—walk out the door. Just leaves. At that point I’m standing there wondering if my food is even being made at all. I ask again, and I’m told they’re “just starting it now.” Let that sink in. Over an hour after I placed the order, they hadn’t even started making it. Finally, at 7:20 PM, I get the quesadilla in my hands. That is 1 hour and 20 minutes for one of the simplest menu items imaginable. No apology that actually meant anything, no urgency, no communication—just constant delays, excuses, and broken promises. This wasn’t just slow service. This was complete disorganization, lack of accountability, and honestly a total disrespect for my time. If you’re going to give people time estimates, they should at least be somewhat grounded in reality. Don’t say 20 minutes if it’s going to take over an hour. Don’t say 5–10 minutes if nothing is even being made. And definitely don’t promise to personally fix the issue and then walk out. I will never go back. This was one of the worst service experiences I’ve had, especially for something so simple.

I had a very frustrating and unfair experience at Chipotle Mexican Grill. From the moment I ordered, the employee’s attitude was rude and unprofessional. I felt like I was being treated differently for no reason. I was charged for red sauce, even though it is supposed to be free, which honestly made me feel taken advantage of. The portion sizes were also unacceptable — I was given a very small amount of rice, and the beans looked off and not fresh at all. On top of that, when I asked for fajita vegetables, the employee refused at first and only added them after I insisted multiple times, which was uncomfortable and embarrassing. Overall, this experience made me feel disrespected and treated unfairly as a customer. This is not the level of service I expected, and I hope management takes this seriously so other customers don’t go through the same situation
