  Worst bakery, worst York Giant. Stopped buying bakery products 2 years ago for this exact reason but was in a pinch. Supposed to be Italian bread. NO MORE Giant Bakery!

  Store was a mess today (Sunday). Stock on many items low. Lots of stocking going on but basically employees and large carts of merchandise blocking isles and getting in the way. Isles in frozen food area had tables of seasonal items and nearly out of date items blocking the middle of the isle. The worst was the small army of order pickers for on line / pick up orders. Most were young people who were very rude.... stopping in the middle of the aisle, cutting in front of customers, opening freezer / refrigerator doors right in front of people. Apparently they do not know how to be polite to customers and to say "excuse me". Several of the check out lines were not opened resulting in longer lines at the one that were. Several apparently "management" employees were standing at the office area talking and laughing but were oblivious to the need for more cashiers or baggers. I asked if it was always like this on Sunday and one employee said yes sometimes even worse. The bright spot of my entire visit was the cashier at checkout 14 (around 12:30 PM today). She was polite, she helped an older lady bag her items. She was pleasant, polite and very efficient despite the crowd. This Giant store needs to have their order pickers, stockers and managers take a lesson from this cashier as to how to treat customers. PS: I tried to contact Giant corporate office about the issues here today but their "contact us" link is an endless loop that does not allow feedback. Guess they just don't really care.

  Giant Direct has been a very pleasant shopping experience, we order, set our time for pickup, when i arrive and call,.. my order is always within 3 - 5 minutes of being loaded for me with a smile and great attitude, always professional yet neighborly, especially today, August 15, 2026 I called and as usual the person answered with kind words and introduced herself as Megan, I told her my name and I was in spot 1 ready for my order, she came out within 3 minutes and walked up to the driver window to greet me and confirm my order, and made sure I was satisfied with the order, what made it more enjoyable in this day and age with such personal disconnect, was Megan took 2 minutes for small talk , as if we were long time friends,... which warmed the moment and most memorable,... we exchanged salutations and she loaded my order into my SUV, closed my tailgate and waved goodbye with a smile,... thanks for being You Megan 🙏

  everything is cool about this place except the fact I can’t stand self checkout. It is very annoying… they need to take pointers from Walmart

  Great little grocery! The Chinese restaurant in the back, whew. Divine! Awesome pricing too.
