  older woman who monitors self checkout with grey hair and glasses is extremely rude. always has an attitude helping customers, can’t even say you’re welcome and says nothing when customers leave. it doesn’t matter how nice you are to her, she is always rude. always looks miserable and treats you the same way. all i needed was help to split a card payment. i’ve seen this lady here often and as much as i would like to chalk it up to just having a bad day, she is like this ALL the time. besides a few young adults here and there that are very sweet, almost all of the employees here are very rude. as someone who’s worked in customer service my whole life, get over yourself. your bad day or hatred for your job is NEVER the customer’s fault. unless they are being rude and ignorant first, you have no reason to act that way, and even then, handle it professionally. i hate going into this giant but sometimes it’s the only convenient plate as i live right by. if it wasn’t, i’d really never come here.

  Hi, I called customer service to ask a few questions and they transferred me to an assistant manager, which makes sense..and I spoke to him, and he was very rude to me and spoke to me as if I were a little child, almost sarcastic. I felt very disrespected. That is no way to speak to a customer, it was totally unprofessional. Makes me nervous to call again!! I did not like that at all! I thought about that for a long time, it really affected me.

  Been shopping here for about 10 years and the worst thing here is the lines they will have 1 register open with cashier and if you self checkout that can be faster BUT if you are handicapped or have problems standing long good luck that can be long also.

  By far the worst location to get Giant Direct from. I swear the people that shop do not shop like they’re shopping for themselves. One time I got card board pieces in packaged broccoli, substitutions without notifying us that were not even close to what we originally ordered, chicken breast (family packs) that expire the next day. The list goes on and on. Oh, and the wait from the time you say you have arrived to actually getting your groceries is astronomical.

  I am writing to express my disappointment regarding a recent shopping experience at Giant. While shopping, I used the Giant app to select the digital coupons for the items I was purchasing. When I got to the register, the coupons did not come off. The cashier told me that I needed to add the coupons 30 minutes before shopping and would not honor the discounted prices. What makes this situation even more frustrating is that when I looked up Giant’s digital coupon information online, it stated that the coupons are automatically applied at checkout once they are clipped to the account. I did not see anything indicating that I had to wait 30 minutes before shopping. I feel this is misleading and unfair to customers. If there is, in fact, a 30-minute waiting period, that requirement should be clearly stated in the app and online so customers know before they get to the register. I am asking Giant to please review this situation and consider honoring the coupon prices for the items I purchased. I would also appreciate clarification regarding the actual policy for when digital coupons become active. I have always expected clear and consistent customer service from Giant, and I hope this matter can be resolved fairly. Thank you for your time. I look forward to your response.
