After being ignored by the waitstaff at a nearby restaurant (Alta Via in Market Square, aka Gangsta ‘Hood) brought the crew to Del Frisco’s on an Aaron Rodgers-worthy audible.
So glad I did. And such a night and day difference between my hospitality experience on every dimension.
Waitstaff was welcoming and informative. I spoke to a bunch of them on my visit - from the GM to bartenders to guy who ran the food from the kitchen to the floor - and they were all well trained, well informed and eager to ensure a premium dining experience for their customers. They succeeded!
The sea bass (with black bean sauce) was among the best prepared fish I’ve ever had anywhere in the world, including Michelin *’d restaurants. Great crust. Perfect temp. Toppings and sauce were sublime. Crab fried rice base was good, but not quite at the Eddie V’s standard of excellence - always another hill to climb!
Great wine list. Phenomenal selection of whiskeys.
High end atmosphere worthy of special occasions.
The kind of restaurant you wish your uncle (or girlfriend’s father!) owned.
Highly recommended.

Food and service was excellent. The blue cheese lettuce wedge set the tone, it was delicious and I would’ve been happy with just that. Then I had the pan roasted arka salmon. It was perfect. The skin was crispy but the salmon was still medium and the beurre blanc…there needed to be more! I couldn’t get enough. The cheesecake wasn’t up to my standard, and it was pretty loud in there with a musician playing and people try to talk above him, but overall I was very happy with my experience. Must try.

Del Frisco’s made my graduation dinner an absolute dream. Chef Austin went completely above and beyond. His attention to detail, personal touches, and flawless food made the night truly unforgettable. The steaks were perfect, the service was seamless, and the atmosphere was electric. If you’re celebrating something special, this is the place. Chef Austin, you’re a legend, thank you! Del Frisco’s will consistently be my first choice for a special night and delicious steaks in Pittsburgh.

Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse in Pittsburgh is truly in a league of its own. It is, without question, the premier destination for steaks in the city, offering a dining experience that is second to none from start to finish.
The culinary journey begins with their signature warm bread rolls, setting a high bar that the rest of the meal consistently meets. The **Seafood Tower** is a showstopper—fresh, chilled to perfection, and the ultimate way to kick off a celebration. As for the main event, the steaks are unparalleled in quality and preparation. When you pair them with standout sides like the massive **Fried Onions** and the earthy, savory **Wild Mushrooms**, it is clear that every element of the menu is executed with precision.
What truly elevates Del Frisco’s, however, is the service. It goes beyond mere professionalism; it is the embodiment of **"unreasonable hospitality."** The staff anticipates every need with a level of care that makes you feel like the only guest in the room.
Whether you are celebrating a major milestone or simply looking for the best meal in town, this is the place to go. I recommend Del Frisco’s without reservation—it is a Pittsburgh treasure.
