We celebrated our 20th anniversary here on July 15th. Honestly, I was a bit apprehensive because reviews said service wasn't great. Also, we've tried the other steakhouses in Pittsburgh and they all left me disappointed. Steaks were always meh, sides so-so, service, just ok at the other places, including Ruth Chris, Hyde Park, Mortons, Capital Grille, etc.
From the moment we walked in to Del Friscos, we were greeted with a huge smile and hello from the beautiful Ashley. After being seated, Ryane came over and introduced herself as our server. They surprised us with an anniversary card, how sweet. There were so many highlights from the evening. Ryane was the biggest standout of them all. She was incredibly attentive, sweet, professional, and had so many great suggestions. I cannot say enough good about her!!! REQUEST HER SECTION!
After our amazing drinks arrived, we received the most delicious bread. We started off with calamari and it was the best we've had, anywhere. Tender, with a delicious sauce, it left us wanting it again. There were so many great sides to choose from and we ended up with the cheesy potatoes...oh my! My husband order the ribeye and I ordered the A5, excellent choices!! Ryane insisted we try the butter cake. Mike loves chocolate so we tried both. Sugar Heaven!!!
Having incredible food is a huge part of a great dining experience. What makes an experience unforgettable though, are the people. At one point, Nick, the Regional Director came over to check on us. He was phenomenal! He then brought Michael, the manager over to meet us. Both gentlemen made us feel like family, even though we just met them.
People make the organization either succeed or just be so-so. In this instance, from the talented kitchen staff, to Nick, Michael, Ashley, and the PHENOMENAL Ryane, you truly have a winning team in place. We've already decided to book dinner there next month.
Thank you all for the best anniversary dinner and steakhouse experience we have ever had. You are all a blessing to those you help and serve!

Everything was amazing, I take pride in leaving Reviews regarding restaurants, as Food means alot to me. Del Frisco's was pricey, but the food you get is worth it. Everything from the salad on was amazing. When ordering the sides, double check to see if they are sides for the table or for yourself, made that small mistake, but still enjoyed the portions.
Dessert was good, waitress was knowledgeable on the wines, and made us feel down to earth and welcomed.
Overall, if you are looking for a fancy evening out, makesure to give this place a try.
