There also never seems to be anyone at the register, so checking out takes far longer than it should. It feels like the entire focus is on fulfilling online orders while customers who are actually in the restaurant are treated as an afterthought. On top of that, they’re constantly out of key ingredients. Being out of meat at 5:00 p.m., one of the busiest times of the day, is inexcusable and shows a lack of preparation. This is the complete opposite of what fast-casual dining is supposed to be. I’ve honestly been served faster at some sit-down restaurants. I can’t believe Chipotle is okay with locations being run like this.
