- JKJohn Kumpf4 days ago5.0I’m a sucker for a good “local Italian joint,” my wife and I have been here in the past and enjoyed the food and great service. Last night we came in with family as a group of 10 and the food was exceptional and the service was terrific! Bella’s has THE BEST Greens & Beans in Pittsburgh, salads were fresh with homemade dressings which is a rarity these days, apps were delicious, entrees were great and the desserts were tasty. I’m a Scoglio’s regular and have been for years, might be time for a change.
- BPBrian PAug 4, 20262.0Ordered chicken Alfredo. It was the worst I have ever had. Watered down and chicken seemed to be boiled. I did send email to let them know. Maybe a bad day in the kitchen but you think they would have responded. Nothing! Been there many times and thought it was just okay. I’ll try and find another Italian place near by.

My sole complaint is with the quality and taste of the food. It was just very mediocre and disappointing. The rolls we were given were room temperature and tasted old and cheap, and the rest of the food wasn't much better. Overall the food just felt really cheap, and the prices certainly were not. I really wanna emphasize how much I loved our server though. I wish I remembered her name, but she was clearly as expert.
