Went for dinner with my partner after hearing positive reviews from friends about their bakery. I had the Levrek Sea Bass pan grilled filet which was quite delicious, albeit not as firm as I would've liked. She ended up getting the Doner kebab which was not appetizing at all. She mentioned it was too greasy, chewy, and overcooked. The Künefe dessert was good though and their falafel appetizers were very tasty. I truly wanted us to like the dining experience, but it fell short.

The restaurant is beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. The service was excellent, with warm hospitality, respect, and genuine smiles that reflect the traditional Turkish approach to welcoming guests. Overall, the dining experience was mixed, as the food did not fully match the high standard set by the service and atmosphere. I began with the lentil soup, which was very enjoyable and well prepared. The Adana kebab, however, did not quite meet expectations in terms of flavor and seasoning, and felt closer to a more simply prepared ground meat dish than a traditional Adana kebab. I chose not to mention it at the time, as the restaurant was busy and other guests were dining. The çoban salad was quite lightly dressed, and could benefit from a bit more lemon, vinegar, and seasoning to enhance its flavor. I also tried the sütlaç (Turkish rice pudding), which was mild in taste but lacked the richness and sweetness I was expecting from this dessert. Frankly it was blend, I took two spoon and left the rest. The total bill was $63, which felt a bit high considering the overall food experience. That said, I believe the restaurant has strong potential, and with some refinement in the kitchen, it could easily match the excellent quality of its service and ambiance.

This place was absolutely amazing. I couldn't have asked for better service and better food. The waiter was very courteous, constantly coming over to make sure everything was okay. The food came out very quickly. And the food was delicious! Very large portions that justify the price. I'll have to come back here every time I go to Pittsburgh.

I RUSHED IN MAKING THIS REVIEW TOO EARLY. DUE TO THE BAD EXPERIENCE WE HAD, THEY DID NOT CHARGE US FOR THE BILL. We started our meal by ordering two Iskender kebabs, but the bread underneath was completely stale. To their credit, they replaced it immediately once we pointed it out. Afterward, my sister ordered the meatballs (köfte) and I chose the chicken shish. Unfortunately, the meatballs tasted sour. While the chicken shish was a bit better, the bulgur served next to it was also sour. The only items we actually enjoyed were the soup and the fresh bread brought to the table. As for the service, the staff wasn't attentive enough. They served the soup but forgot to bring a spoon. Even worse, when they took our plates away to change the meal, they took my silverware with them. When the new dish arrived, no setup was provided, so I had to get up and grab a fork from an empty neighboring table myself. In short: Despite all the hiccups, did they make an effort to rectify the issues? Yes, they did, which I appreciate. However, both the food quality and service coordination definitely need improvement.
